I’ve been to Charlotte many times and I actually love the east side that’s where I want to move that’s where I always stay well the last time I stayed in south and it was ok just a lil boujee for my taste 😂
Recently visited💞. Booked a hotel on the state line (border of North and South Carolina) and traveled between the two, mainly south end. Love almost everything about the Carolinas excluding the TRAFFIC 😏 (Issa no).
The only things I miss in NC is the food & beaches 😆... Eastern NC is HARD to beat for their bbq, soul food, & country cooking; 1. Hudson Bay Seafood- Fayetteville 2. McCall's Bbq & Seafood- Goldsboro 3. Salem Pizza & Buffet- Salemburg Then there are the beaches..... 1. The bridge at Holden Beach 2. The lighthouses at OBX 3. The waterway at Calabash Other than these reasons, Greenville SC seems a better place to live than Charlotte...., but hey, we do make the drive north to eat at Smithfields Chicken N Bbq 😆 🐖 ❤ 🏝
When I first moved I joined the Urban League of Central Carolinas. I would suggest joining different groups that you have an interest towards like running clubs, volunteer work, etc. I would suggest those bars I mentioned Slate and Oak Room. Those are pretty good places to meet people.
I would say that Charlotte is a mixed crowd but Blue Olive, Monarch Room, Firehouse, and Explicit Bistro Lounge are places our people frequent quite often. @NB
