You explain things so clearly and smoothly. And you do each exercise enough for anyone to get it. You are a true ambassador for learning how to snowboard, thank you.
You're a git, Malcolm! You make it looks so graceful, and effortless, leaving me to wonder who cut my Pinocchio strings as I faceplant into the snow when I've tried some of these. But, you're also a star for taking the time to show us these excellent tips and how-tos, and making me yearn for next winter, and the chance to go boarding again. Stellar instructor, thanks so much! Cheers from Sweden
Awesome content as always! Luckily, I have the great fortune of having ridden and learned along with Malcolm in his 2024 End of Season bootcamp! It is just amazing the amount of good energy and love to the sport that Malcolm pours into this trainings. It really helped me to get my riding to a higher level. I totally recommend you take the time to train with him!!!
Love these! I tend to warm up just doing 360s continuously in one direction and then the other. A great morning exercise as it gets your brain awake in riding normal or switch. Thanks again for some great tips over the season.
Thank you for the detailed and clear explanation of the riding technique! I wish everyone to skate injury-free and make constant progress! Unfortunately, this season is over, I'm looking forward to the next one.
Love the drills. worked on knee steering drill multiple times when i was starting regular, then when i started switch riding i did the same thing as well. helped a lot with the switch learning.
Thanks for all of the great videos! I just wish this one was posted 2 months ago, since my snowboarding season is over now. So now I need to wait until next winter to workon these exercises.
Hey Malcolm! Thanks for another great video. Do you have any tips for staying in snowboarding shape over the summer? Are there any drills or exercises you recommended?
Damn, it's been less than 2 months and I already miss snowboarding so much. Malcolm can you repost this one at the beginning of next season? Im just kidding, of course i saved it to my 'checklist' of what to focus on when the season comes. Thanks again for helping us out!
Hey Malcolm, another great video :) Going to excercise this next week in Val Thorens. Your video's improve my riding and help me teaching my daughters. Thank you so much!
@@malcolmmoore Your hopes worked out Malcolm, thanksalot. Very good conditions above 2500m and the slush below that was fun too. Had some long powder runs and my youngest daughter caught the powder virus, will never forget that smile! Have a great summer Malcolm.
just leave your best video for last? that's pretty messed up. 😂 i appreciate all your vids and really do love some of the other drill vids that have really helped my riding, specifically switch. thx
I was considering coming to France next season to get a few lessons from you, but when I was looking for accommodations, there doesn't seem to have any budget options (Backpacker hotels) in the area where you're teaching? Have I missed anything?
First, really sorry for having mangled your name. Thank you for the answer, but it does not look like the Nidecker Sensor Plus either 😉. An older board?
Hi Malcolm, Love your videos! I’m a decent snowboarder but only just trying to get into tricks and I’m struggling with Ollie’s. I can get the board off the snow, but am struggling to get any real air. Any tips? Cheers Paul
Love the videos Malcolm, even as somewhat experienced snowboarder they're great information. How many days per year do you ride? It seems like you're on the slopes all the time! I envy that :D
Love it! Thank you so much for these tips. I did my first trip last month and your videos definitely helped me have so much fun. I did find it really hard at the beginning on hard packed slopes with lots of wind. As a beginner, it was much easier (and less painful) to learn on the softer, slushy snow, which more experienced riders don't seem to enjoy? The hard, icy stuff did nothing for my confidence at all. Any tips for this? Thanks for sharing your experiences. I can't wait to try these out on my next session to prepare for my next trip!

many thanks, apologies for the late reply!

Hi Malcom,
Nice video, always love your drills.
What is the board you were using? Does not really look like the Biru.
Thanks
Nidecker Sensor Plus, been swapping between that and the Biru this season ✌️
First, really sorry for having mangled your name.

Ahhh I could have used the nose roll drills this season!! That drill looks like it would have really help with my nose rolls.
