hello AMAA. Yes, the small basin in the first property it's a bidet. You can see it in Europe and it's not for the feet. The kitchens in Spain are not as large as in the States and I think that are more utilitarian. In Spain we like to do our gathering around the dinning table, during the meal and after the meal. If the conversation is interesting, we can be sitting on the table for hours, drinking coffee or any other beverages and having fun with each other while the kids play in some other part of the house. Hope you keep learning more about Spain, my country.
Murcia is one of the hottest areas of Spain although also mountains around, but overally not as green as other zones in Spain. Also not raining much in Murcia, proly saving water
We use the basin, "El bidé" to wash properly down there, u know, though not everybody use it. It can be use it to wash ur feet if u like it. We don't do that before praying, because we are a Christian and secular country
@@Average_Middle_Aged_American The bidé is smaller of course and not everybody use it. U can clean deeper while having a shower instead. Japanese got the combo, but we use them separetely
@@Average_Middle_Aged_American Because a bidet is not a toilet. It's not for relieving yourself, it's for washing your private parts and it's a French invention. It is very common in several European countries.
Check out La Costa Blanca in the Valencian Community all around Valencia and Alicante área with lots of beautiful places like: Jávea, Calpe, Altea, Benidorm, Torrevieja, Denia etc..Greetings
13:22 Oh man, the bidet is perhaps the best invention of humanity. You know, a clean arse is a happy arse. There is a huge problem in Murcia with water, it is not enough. There are desalinization plants too and the tap water in lots of places tastes disgusting.
That area of Spain has the most sunshine, mild temperatures most of the year, sea water in summer can reach 27C or more... but I leave it for other people, I like living in the center of the country and move around. I see the appeal for foreigners from Northern Europe. One fact about Spain, and I guess the rest of Europe: you cannot gate the beach or own a piece of beach in Spain, no private beaches here or building too close to them are allowed. I really not enjoyed not being unable to reach the beach at so many places in Florida (Spanish name, by the way), with big buildings blocking even the view.
En Murcia no se usa la secadora 😂 hace mucho calor, que tontería, ni en el Sur de España. Se tiende la ropa en la galería, el balcón interior, patio, terraza o lateral del jardín. La electricidad y el gas , gasolina son muy caros en España. 😊
$200k for a large house in a desirable region in Spain? It's either an old video or there's something wrong with the house. We're in full blown housing crisis right now. Small apartments are going for € 300-400k. Edit: Just checked the location - Fuente Álamo is technically in the region of Murcia but the town itself is neither on the coast or near the city of Murcia (which is inland). And this neighborhood is actually separate from the town and quite isolated. I guess the price reflects that.
These houses look like the typical tacky houses that were built in the 70‘s, 80’s or maximum 90's, imitating a supposedly Mediterranean house or a typical house from California, Miami, etc.
Those are like a very cheap imitation of "mediterranean" typical villas. As a spaniard, I must say that those look like 1980s built with a couple of improved "modern" materials and that's it. A new mediterranean style villa in Spain costs between 300k and 600k on average, >1M€ a big one.

@yomismo688 - does not look as comfortable as a toliet. Wouldn't it just be easier for the builder to use a combo unit?
