The father should have created a TRUST with the help of an estate lawyer so that all the money goes into the TRUST and only when each child reaches a certain age (determined by the father in this case----mid to late 20s is generally a good choice since the kids will be old enough and hopefully responsible enough to use their inheritance wisely) will the TRUST pay out the child's share of inheritance money to that child, no one else.
