Darkrai: the Pokemon who managed to twice halt the rampage of Pokemon based on both time and space, who also accidentally twice halt arceus' plan of total global destruction
Well, in one incarnation he was certainly less nice than that, warping time and space in accordance with his desires of total darkness and everlasting night. That's an entirely different universe though, and one could argue he did learn his lesson in the end.
Giratina going nuts on Dialga was always hype af. Plus Ash actually calming Giratina when no one else could. Same with Arceus. Would’ve been insane if Giratina and Arceus came to his defense in a later movie but I guess that would be a short movie if they did.
I don't know why, but Darkrai's design and demeanor always made him stand out from the others. Like, while with all the others, including legendaries, you've gained another servant after capturing them, but in Darkrai's case, it kind of feels like he's just like, eh, guess you caught me, I'll just pretend to be your servant, this should be an interesting experience.
Another thing I find interesting about Darkrai is that it isn't ever destructive on purpose. It isn't evil, it just goes where it wants and nightmares follow.

That's honestly the impression I get with most legendaries. They'll stick around long after you die, battling alongside you is just like a short curiosity fueled excursion from their daily lives. There are a few exceptions(Zekrom and Reshiram come to mind) but most of the time that's what it feels like to me.

If it's the accuracy that you're worried about, try using an ORAS Deoxys (Speed form) with Gravity and an accuracy-enhancing item on the Darkrai such as a wide lens.
It was just the goat Pokemon movie with the goat Pokemon nothing else to say. 8 year old me got someone to record the movie for me and I watched it dozens of times. Darkrai being the first new pokemon i ever experienced (i started with pearl) and it having such a great movie, design and personality just made it for me. And then being the final antagonist in the goat mystery dungeon game. It is just the best pokemon ever
Radical dark shit is going on here! I really like the original and wished for this track for a long time. You actully mixed all leitmotif of darkrai (including Enter Darkrai) and the trumpets, guitar and drums that make this track so sick. Amazing job fella.

And for Cresselia to be Psychic/Fairy so that they can deal supereffective damage to each other with STAB moves. Ghost is supereffective against Psychic/Fairy and Fairy is supereffective against Dark/Ghost, so they would truly balance each other out
When you fight Darkrai you have to throw 2 masterballs to catch him. Darkrai doesn't turn lights off, He turns dark on. Darkrais favourite instrument is guitartina.
The intro with Dialga and Palkia was hype af. Still waiting for DP remakes and then the subsequent movie they’ll bring. Maybe Giratina and Arceus will still recognize Ash?
People thought I liked Darkrai for it's Dark Void... No, I like it to this day, because it feels so relatable to be misjuged just for looking like you're a bad guy and for beeing erased from existance just so the other would get a slim chance to survive. Truely, the most awesome legendary Pokémon. Even more so than Mewtwo.
