Beelitz Heilstätten- Abandon Porn

An hour outside of Berlin sits an abandoned complex of 60 hospital buildings.
Originally built in 1898, this facility hosted tuberculosis patients, soldiers from two world wars (most famously Adolf Hitler), and Russian soldiers until 1994.
An appropriately spooky place, a fetish photographer murdered a model during a photoshoot, and the 100 hectare area was stalked by its very own serial killer, "The Beast of Beelitz". Today though, it's just a series of derelict buildings, hipster food events, and kids with cameras (like me).
From a place that has seen so much suffering and devastation, one shouldn't forget the original intent of this place: Healing.
