I think that on “chubby issue” Korean culture is influencing your ways of thinking. I read before hearing you say it that is a common way of thinking in Korea. Over there some more weight means laziness. In some other cultures and in ancient times “chubby” gives the feeling that a woman is more fertile and healthy and so more appealing, for example...I’m sure that if is real love even them will not put really attention to a few more kg! Anyways chubby means soft more than fat...you really don’t like love handles? 😏
You heard WRONG my dear, pubic hair is VERY important to women's health. Hair on our vaginas are there to protect us from environmental issues..bacteria and germs. The same reason why we have nose hair and ear hair, these act as filters in keeping things out of our bodies. Doctors and gynecologists will tell you all the time to not completely shave the pubic hair. Armpit hair is subjective, in many cultures armpit hair or body hair in general on women is natural. Society has told us we need to get rid of hair but just be aware that in some cultures body hair is completely natural and unlike the preconceived notions out there, these people do not have body odour. As for the issue of chubby, that's pretty harsh calling them collectively lazy. That is a very big stereotype thinking that big means unhealthy or lazy. Skinny does not equate health. Being big and muscular does not equate healthy either. There are so many factors on why people are big but please change your mindset on that because, it is completely not true. You cannot look at a person and deem them lazy just because of their size. It's great that you're both honest in what you like but it's better to say you prefer a person who is physically fit or at the same level of fitness.
It doesn't seem like chubby is the issue. Seems like you both don't like people who aren't as active, which is understandable since you both workout and try to stay fit. True. I got lipedema which make my hips, butt and arms look big because alot of fluid and fat gather around those part and exercise and diet do not help. So I look chubby but I'm not lazy or over eating
I hate this. Everyone has this only two assumptions about chubby people, that they are either lazy or having health issues. If it's the first one, we judge them, if it's the second we "forgive" them for being chubby since it's not their fault. As if it was a sin or a crime, or just simply something that would prevent someone to like their own body. As if a chubby girl/boy shouldn't alllowed to like her/himself as the way she/he is. I dont have an ideal type, but there are also chubby people among those ones I had crush on before. You can like this kind of appearance or not, your taste, your choice, but don't make these stupid assumptions.
When woman shave between there legs it is more likely to get an infection. It doesn't matter if it's shaved or not when the girl washes good it's the same standard of hygiene
Both of your points are valid, but at the very least, men and women, both, should at least trim and groom that area! No one wants their nose buried in a bushy forest or worse, get a hair in their mouth! (vomit!!) That can be true. Pubic hair provides a breathable barrier for the skin that can help protect one's PH levels. Hair has nothing to do with hygiene, unless one does not have access to adequate bathing options. Whatever one's preference, they're going to be certain practices one must adopt. I don't have much hair, but I get so annoyed, if a tiny bit gets pinched by elastic, etc. I also really like feeling smooth and moisturized. However, if I have "hardwood floors" in winter, I get a bit chilly and desire some slight fluff. Do you suppose there's such a thing as a seasonal groomer? 🤣 (Regarding some of the things our beloved goofballs said (Hi, Chan & MinHardy, if you're reading this! 🤗), my friends from Korea say that sex education there is far behind some countries -- which I've heard is true of many places in the world. Having said that, I do feel it's the choice of the individual (depending on the person, and local custom, I'm sure some people wouldn't be interested in grooming they found unattractive). At the end of the day, if someone is judgmental about my removal of body hair, they're not the person for me. Please share your source for the study that found 80% of women shave, wax or trim. I'd really love to show my esthetician, as we've wondered about this. I've only seen anecdotal studies in fashion and health magazines. (And, this may be presumptuous of me, but I think many people find hair in their mouth to be disagreeable 😕).

I started screaming NOOO when he said that lol I work in the OBGYN and I can tell u 100% pubic hair is important. Women catch infections very easily down there (which is why we have vaginal discharge to help “self clean”) You can keep it trimmed and groomed so it’s not unkept BUT ITS IMPORTANT. Now I’m not saying it ALWAYS has to be like that for women who don’t really prefer it , but it’s ideal every so often grow the hair out for a few weeks and keep it trimmed. As a “treat” u can go bald every once in awhile.

Women have different morphologies / body shapes (ie bone structure) including: hourglass, apple shape, rectangular etc. That has nothing to do with fat content / muscle density or being lazy. Vanity of vanities...chubby girl here and definitely NOT lazy. I work out 3 to 4 times a week. I also swim and play volley ball. Chubby cam be mighty fine guys js. It's just my body shape. During every physical, I pass with flying colors. No health issues at all. Maybe focus on the personality, heart n soul instead of judging by body figure.

I used to be extremely skinny and after having my daughter, I ended up with a thyroid condition that made me gain weight. It has made me extremely self conscious about my appearance and I hate it bc, here, there is really nothing I can do about it. I've tried specialists, but then I gained more weight. But I am FAR from being lazy or unhealthy, as far as what they're describing. Life happens to us and sometimes there is nothing we can do about it. So it would be great NOT to be lumped into the group of people who ARE actually overweight and lazy. At least get to know the person before you make a judgement call. jmo

I gained weight with my medications. I was always in swimming and gymnastics. I have lupus and to keep it under more control, I have certain medications and these have been bad for my weight… but they are keeping me alive!

Im latina that lifts weights. Im THICK THICK. Ive never been skinny or slender. At my skinniest i was a size 10 when i ran twice a day. By korean standards im "fat". By American standards im "thick". Im not all muscle . I love my tacos🥰 also the older ladies get they gain weight . Genetics /hormones are things we cant control. Thats why many american women get plastic surgery. I saw this video and I just wanted to weigh in...I am shooketh by Min ha's response...I completely disagree with what he says about fat women equals laziness..there is no truth or scientific proof in that statement..There are various reasons why a woman can be overweight that has nothing to do with food or overeating...it can be due to medication...Thyroid problems...slow metabolism due to an illness..her period..stress...women's bodies are designed differently than men and are harder for a woman to lose weight even as hard as she may be trying to lose weight..her height can also play a factor in her inability to lose weight because shorter women have a harder time losing weight than taller women...so to blatantly say its because she's lazy is wrong ,discriminatory and prejudice.. I have known women who have gone into deep, deep depression because they couldn't lose weight and tried everything aside from surgery... so I don't think that was a very nice thing to say about overweight women...overweight does NOT equate to laziness.
All chubby people are not chubby because they are over eating or is lazy. I got lipedema which make my hips, arms and butt look big because alot of fluid and fat gathers around those part and exercise or diet doesn't work and when I was young I took medication that swollen my whole body, lucky I was able to change medication and became thin but then puberty hit and my lipedema started to grow. So all chubby people are not fat because they're lazy or do not exercise
Chubby girls aren’t chubby by choice. It has nothing to do with laziness. Mostly it’s cause by Mental Heath problems - depression and depression pill cause extra weight. Stress- people with a lot of stress are overeating for energy because they feel tired all the time. Their need to for fill expectations and responsibilities. Emotional eating. - people who can’t deal with their emotions, emotional baggage.. fill the void they feel with food. Addiction problem -… like smoking it’s so hard to stop because their body keeps asking for more People that aren’t happy are most likely to be too fat or to thin. It has nothing to do with laziness.. it’s more that they either have a problem or they just lack love from society. I think we need to stand up for this people more and help them.
I want say this, I used to b overweight. Lost all the weight. I was never lazy. Worked 2 jobs walked 4 miles for work. I had a health issue caused weight gain. Chubby doesn't mean lazy. I have a bad back which I need surgery for and so I can't move and I walk with a cane. Due to this I have gained weight and am chubby, please consider chubby doesn't mean lazy as you don't know the persons life story

I appreciate the honesty and everyone has their own preferences. But, I would like to say that the stereotype of chubby/big/fluffy girls being lazy, isn't necessarily true. When you talk to girls, please keep in mind that a LOT of non-thin girls have extra weight due to other issues such as medication, mental health issues (depression, PTSD, etc.), physical health issues, hormone imbalances, etc. There's also cultural issues. Perhaps no one ever taught her how to eat healthy. Maybe she has an eating disorder. Maybe she's recovering from an eating disorder like bulimia or anorexia. You never know what a person has gone through or is currently going through, that has caused them to gain weight. So, even if it's your preference to date thin girls, that's cool. But, don't stereotype them as lazy. Be kind. Uplift them. They probably already struggle with their self image without the added negativity of that stereotype. 😊
I'm older now so I'm a bit chubbier compared to when I was younger but not fat. But I'm NOT lazy, I jog every day for abot 1 - 1,5 hours and eat less, still it's harder to keep the weight at my preferable level.

Guys, chubby/fat women aren't necessarily lazy... Some have thyroid issues that makes it hard to lose the fat, or they have a very slow metabolism, or stress can induce a weight gain. Nobody wants someone lazy, but don't do amalgams like that plz!! Personally, I'm chubby, I work out 4-5 days a week, I eat as healthy as possible, but all my body does is changing the fat in muscle without losing it!! I even gain weight on top of that!! I have a personal trainer and a nutritionist, but I still can't do strick diets because of other health issues...

There is a difference between chubby and fat or lazy. I have seen chubby girls who are fit as any of those thinner athletic looking girls and not lazy. It can some times come down to the health on the inside like. I know people with thyroid issues that look over weight work out but still can never look those on the front cover of a fitness magazine. Can I just say minha did say it’s the way he thinks only, he understands it may not be true but it’s just how he thinks and it is quite clear he didn’t mean it maliciously. Let me just say that I love you guys and usually agree with most that you say. I respect your thoughts in answer to question #5 however, I feel your “chubby girls” answer is going to get you a lot of backlash. It’s a total misconception that chubby girls are lazy but that’s the reality of the thought process for so many people. I guess I fit under the category of “chubby girl” and I’m no way lazy. No matter how much physical activity I do (and I do a lot) my body type is a result of my gene-pool on my mother’s side. It’s so sad that physical appearance plays such high role in attraction. I have the added bonus of being short too (5ft or 150 cm). How do you guys feel about short girls? Anyway, I couldn’t stay quite about the “chubby girl” remark even if it was innocently made and not intended to be negative. I really liked when Minha said he shaved under his arms. I know a lot of body builders do that, but Minha said he did it, because it was cleaner, and it is. I think guys should shave under their arms too, and feel comfortable about it, for that very reason Minha mentioned -- it's just cleaner. I've convinced several guys I know to start doing that, and they've all said that they have really been glad that they started doing so. *Good Grooming Minha* ! Thanks for being a leader!
It's sad that you guys generalize chubby girls as lazy. I guess I can understand that chubby girls are not your "style" or type but please don't generalize. I say this because I'm chubby, I've always been chubby but I'm also athletic, I'm just built different. Being skinny doesn't always equal healthy. I guess you haven't seen a chubby or fat person run a 5 or 10k or train their bottoms off. Also, you can't say you don't like something until you try it. At least in my experience, while talking to men, they've always been curious and some have even tried it and enjoyed it (not with me, just yo be clear). So my suggestion to you is just to try it. You might be pleasently surprised.
It was sad to hear you equal fat and lazy. I appreciate you guys being honest and transparent. I just wish society wouldn’t relate those two together. I know women who due to chemo medications make it 10x harder to lose weight and some of their meds make them retain water. One goes to gym 3x a week with what her body can allow her to do and she loses eight but then adds it back during certain times with her injections and meds. Fat doesn’t always mean lazy.

That can be true. Pubic hair provides a breathable barrier for the skin that can help protect one's PH levels. Hair has nothing to do with hygiene, unless one does not have access to adequate bathing options. Whatever one's preference, they're going to be certain practices one must adopt. I don't have much hair, but I get so annoyed, if a tiny bit gets pinched by elastic, etc. I also really like feeling smooth and moisturized. However, if I have "hardwood floors" in winter, I get a bit chilly and desire some slight fluff. Do you suppose there's such a thing as a seasonal groomer? 🤣 (Regarding some of the things our beloved goofballs said (Hi, Chan & MinHardy, if you're reading this! 🤗), my friends from Korea say that sex education there is far behind some countries -- which I've heard is true of many places in the world. Having said that, I do feel it's the choice of the individual (depending on the person, and local custom, I'm sure some people wouldn't be interested in grooming they found unattractive). At the end of the day, if someone is judgmental about my removal of body hair, they're not the person for me. Please share your source for the study that found 80% of women shave, wax or trim. I'd really love to show my esthetician, as we've wondered about this. I've only seen anecdotal studies in fashion and health magazines. (And, this may be presumptuous of me, but I think many people find hair in their mouth to be disagreeable 😕).

Women have different morphologies / body shapes (ie bone structure) including: hourglass, apple shape, rectangular etc. That has nothing to do with fat content / muscle density or being lazy. Vanity of vanities...chubby girl here and definitely NOT lazy. I work out 3 to 4 times a week. I also swim and play volley ball. Chubby cam be mighty fine guys js. It's just my body shape. I used to be extremely skinny and after having my daughter, I ended up with a thyroid condition that made me gain weight. It has made me extremely self conscious about my appearance and I hate it bc, here, there is really nothing I can do about it. I've tried specialists, but then I gained more weight.
But I am FAR from being lazy or unhealthy, as far as what they're describing. Life happens to us and sometimes there is nothing we can do about it. So it would be great NOT to be lumped into the group of people who ARE actually overweight and lazy.

I gained weight with my medications. I was always in swimming and gymnastics. I have lupus and to keep it under more control, I have certain medications and these have been bad for my weight… but they are keeping me alive!

As a bisexual/queer woman who used to date a straight man...it's definitely difficult to relate to someone with a different sexuality than you, so I get where you're coming from. But I do think it's worth the effort to embrace those differences and learn from each other, especially if you care enough about the person you're dating. I saw this video and I just wanted to weigh in...I am shooketh by Min ha's response...I completely disagree with what he says about fat women equals laziness..there is no truth or scientific proof in that statement..There are various reasons why a woman can be overweight that has nothing to do with food or overeating...it can be due to medication...Thyroid problems...slow metabolism due to an illness..her period..stress...women's bodies are designed differently than men and are harder for a woman to lose weight even as hard as she may be trying to lose weight..her height can also play a factor in her inability to lose weight because shorter women have a harder time losing weight than taller women...so to blatantly say its because she's lazy is wrong ,discriminatory and prejudice.. I have known women who have gone into deep, deep depression because they couldn't lose weight and tried everything aside from surgery... so I don't think that was a very nice thing to say about overweight women...overweight does NOT equate to laziness.

I got lipedema which make my hips, arms and butt look big because alot of fluid and fat gathers around those part and exercise or diet doesn't work and when I was young I took medication that swollen my whole body, lucky I was able to change medication and became thin but then puberty hit and my lipedema started to grow. So all chubby people are not fat because they're lazy or do not exercise

Chubby doesn't mean lazy. I have a bad back which I need surgery for and so I can't move and I walk with a cane. Due to this I have gained weight and am chubby, please consider chubby doesn't mean lazy as you don't know the persons life story

I appreciate the honesty and everyone has their own preferences. But, I would like to say that the stereotype of chubby/big/fluffy girls being lazy, isn't necessarily true. When you talk to girls, please keep in mind that a LOT of non-thin girls have extra weight due to other issues such as medication, mental health issues (depression, PTSD, etc.), physical health issues, hormone imbalances, etc. There's also cultural issues. Perhaps no one ever taught her how to eat healthy. Maybe she has an eating disorder. Maybe she's recovering from an eating disorder like bulimia or anorexia.
You never know what a person has gone through or is currently going through, that has caused them to gain weight. So, even if it's your preference to date thin girls, that's cool. But, don't stereotype them as lazy. Be kind. Uplift them. They probably already struggle with their self image without the added negativity of that stereotype. 😊

I'm older now so I'm a bit chubbier compared to when I was younger but not fat. But I'm NOT lazy, I jog every day for abot 1 - 1,5 hours and eat less, still it's harder to keep the weight at my preferable level.

Guys, chubby/fat women aren't necessarily lazy... Some have thyroid issues that makes it hard to lose the fat, or they have a very slow metabolism, or stress can induce a weight gain.

Personally, I'm chubby, I work out 4-5 days a week, I eat as healthy as possible, but all my body does is changing the fat in muscle without losing it!! I even gain weight on top of that!!

There is a difference between chubby and fat or lazy. I have seen chubby girls who are fit as any of those thinner athletic looking girls and not lazy. It can some times come down to the health on the inside like. I know people with thyroid issues that look over weight work out but still can never look those on the front cover of a fitness magazine. You shouldn’t judge before getting to know people especially women on looks alone.

It’s a total misconception that chubby girls are lazy but that’s the reality of the thought process for so many people. I guess I fit under the category of “chubby girl” and I’m no way lazy. I really liked when Minha said he shaved under his arms. I know a lot of body builders do that, but Minha said he did it, because it was cleaner, and it is. I think guys should shave under their arms too, and feel comfortable about it, for that very reason Minha mentioned -- it's just cleaner. It's sad that you guys generalize chubby girls as lazy. I guess I can understand that chubby girls are not your "style" or type but please don't generalize. I say this because I'm chubby, I've always been chubby but I'm also athletic, I'm just built different. Being skinny doesn't always equal healthy. I guess you haven't seen a chubby or fat person run a 5 or 10k or train their bottoms off. Also, you can't say you don't like something until you try it. At least in my experience, while talking to men, they've always been curious and some have even tried it and enjoyed it (not with me, just yo be clear). So my suggestion to you is just to try it. You might be pleasently surprised.

I know women who due to chemo medications make it 10x harder to lose weight and some of their meds make them retain water. One goes to gym 3x a week with what her body can allow her to do and she loses eight but then adds it back during certain times with her injections and meds. Fat doesn’t always mean lazy.
