I am so privy to have met Mother (Ms. Maggie) Ingram I believe over 15 years ago as she was a guest speaker at the Guiding Light Church governed by a man who goes by Apostle David Mungo (The Barefooted Prophet). I can recall the feeling just as if it were yesterday. It's so rare to find people of this caliber who's life truly has set standards of excellence. The very first cassette tape I ever owned which I received as a gift by a special cousin at a very early age of approximately 9 yrs old. I used to get so excited to hear Sis. Maggie Ingram (at that time) come on the radio that I would stop whatever it was that I was doing and sit right next to the speaker so attentively. She is indeed and always will be Truly Legendary as a Gospel Trailblazer! Like a Ship and Don't Give up are timeless classics! I'm honored to have celebrated with her in the services! Amazing women of the Most High!
A true teacher of the Gospel! I attended their concert over 30 years ago in Charleston, SC. My family loved Maggie Ingram! I know every song by heart because we listened to the record so much! Love them all! ❤
