@@MartinsDaniel This is actually from 2008. He mentions in the video that they're about to do their 3rd flight, which was in 2008 and which failed. After that they were on the verge of bankruptcy and had to scrap together another rocket for one last try. Luckily that flight was a success, or else SpaceX would have failed entirely.

This just popped up in my recommended list in August 2020 and in the last week I’ve live streamed spacex returning crew memebers from space, flying the starship prototype for the first time and delivering 60 satellites to orbit and returning the rocket safely. That’s a hell of a lot of accomplishments not to mention all the others that has happened since this video was uploaded, they still hadn’t flown a full falcon 9 mission yet and in 9 short years they changed the space industry and mankind forever. Well done spacex you are the single most inspirational company in existence.

The best thing about this is he’s done these great things and it wasn’t motivated by war or money. That’s a huge step forward for humanity. A fine milestone I don’t think many realize.

That’s crazy how at the time of filming this they have had 2 failures of Falcon 1 but had invested so heavily in their own future; crew dragon, Falcon 9 etc. That’s self belief and aiming high. Well done Elon & team. I will never cease to be amazed.

He's saying about F1 flight 3. 9 years ago to this day flight 3 of the falcon 1 will fail. Forward on to 2020, few days ago, his company together with NASA made history as being the first private company to ferry astronauts to and from the ISS. I hope I get to live when man sets foot to Mars. What a time to be alive.

whenever people says hes just the money man and not an engineer i laugh, clearly you can see this guy is very intelligent and knows a great deal about all aspects of the design of the rocket. elon and the team he has put together at spacex are to me the most impressive company on earth at the moment.
