That’s awesome. They have been the best jam band for most of my life. In 1987 I was falling out of love with the Grateful Dead (Jerry nodding out, so many hangers on the scene) and living this bar banned in Burlington Vermont. They have always been fun snd exciting musically and I think they are peaking now.
Keep an eye on tour dates and if theyre in a city near you go even if its solo. You will quickly make friends and as good as it is on speakers the live experience is something else entirely.
Thank you so much for streaming the sphere run & posting these videos. With Dead & Co announcing that they will not be streaming their shows from the sphere, it really put it in perspective how much you guys care about your phans. You guys chose to provide an alternative for phans to experience that magical event that couldn’t afford a trip to Vegas & that speaks volumes. Hope to see you guys back in Nashville soon!
Indeed. A massive Thank you to Phish and their team! A band at the height of their creative abilities, quite literally leading the way forward in opening portals to new realms of creative possibility in live music performance entertainment. Another band: a groan worthy nostalgia act bilking rubes. I don’t condemn those who choose the latter, but I won’t lend no hand to raise no flag atop no ship of fools. Phish is a part of my whole growing up ever since a live one and living next to as well as working at Polaris amphitheater. They been landing spaceships on my brain since I can remember. Shit be fucking hitting
I’ve been to hundreds, and this was my favorite show I’ve ever been to. Certainly top 5. Sound quality, obvs lights/display, the scale and pure wonder of that room, the jamz, the vibes, the flow, everything. Top to bottom an absolutely elite phish experience by all in our crew.
Thank you! Def the highlight from my sphere experience. That and talking to guys in my same row who I met who had been seeing Phish since the 90s. We went nuts at the end of this jam, it felt like worlds colliding. Thank you Phish!
@@louisharper1471 I like how they did it from what I've seen so far. Have some fun with the capabilities during the song parts, but during the jam just let a fucking visualizer run and let us focus on the band. The point of phish always was and always will be listening to these 4 people improvise. If they're jamming, I couldn't give a fuck about anything else happening around me even if it's some new incredible state of the art screen dome visuals. Let the visuals supplement the music, I don't want shit distracting me from these guys working.
@RZRMINERBDR i went and seen ufc noche 306 and mid tickets were $17,999 usd per seat. It's worth it because the seats also rumble too so the whole time my boo boo whole was screaming!

Feels great this band will never receive another penny from my pocket book. The Forum 2015 was last time seeing Phish live.
Although I have been seeing my favorite band since 8-8-93, I can no longer go to shows. THIS is the only way I get to see my boys anymore. I haven't been to a show since the last Dick's show of 2014. Disability happens. But hot dam# are these Sphere shows AWESOME! As Drew Carry, having seen his phirst show, put it, "I had my (expletive) face melted off". Yep, sounds about right. EPIC phashion. A lot of great drummers out there. Fishman has been undisputed #1 for me for years, but now there's Tom Skinner of The Smile. Tom was recruited by Jonny Greenwood.
Phish has elevated the streaming game and live sound their entire career. While I wish it was all as good as this DWD I can assure you that it is not. This was peak Phish and everyone is blessed to be able to see and hear it in such amazing quality in the comfort of their living room 🎉. I have been there so many times when they elevate game, Rock and Roll at the Gorge in 2010 , 2012 Dick’s , GameHenge NYE 2023 . They are so happy to be doing what they love to do and it shows all the time. Go to a show. You will be hooked

Well if that is true Phish lost alot of money, as will all bands that play the sphere. IMO your numbers are way off my I have no knowledge of the system.
@@MrYatesj1 The $30k figure comes from a source close to the event reported to (if I remember correctly) Relix. As for losing money on the event, the reported gross was over $25 million for the event, so even at a figure of $10-15million for the effects, they still made plenty of money off the run.

Just got into phish, any other suggestions for videos from your top 10 list?
That segue back into the DwD outro at 32:40 is one of the smoothest I've ever heard, just perfect.
What a run!
First half of N1 was ripcord city, but after that almost all the transitions to and from jams were perfection.
I thought they were going to carry out at about 25 mins, but hell no.

Amazing. Maybe the best experience of my life
The Sphere was made for Phish.
Figuratively *and* literally since both Trey and Kuroda were involved in the development!
I have mixed feelings about whether they should put an actual music video on the screen or stick to the screensaver visuals.
