I lived in my house a month now and thought these were just top hinged windows.. I watch the first few seconds of this and was like cool.. that’s how you open the vent.. then as soon as you opened it further I literally when “OMG”!! And ran to try it out on my windows! It worked! Thank you so much!
Dealing with mosquitoes in your room can be frustrating, especially if the window was left open because of the heat. Here are a few steps you can take: 1. **Turn off the Lights**: Mosquitoes are attracted to light, so turning off the lights can help them lose interest in staying inside. 2. **Use a Fan**: Mosquitoes are weak fliers, so a fan blowing in your room can make it difficult for them to navigate, potentially driving them out or keeping them away from you. 3. **Mosquito Repellent**: Apply mosquito repellent on your skin, especially on exposed areas. You can also use a mosquito repellent spray in the room. 4. **Mosquito Net or Trap**: If you have a mosquito net, consider using it over your bed. Alternatively, set up a mosquito trap in the room to capture any that are inside. 5. **Look for and Eliminate Mosquitoes**: Use a flashlight to spot and kill any mosquitoes that might be in the room. They often rest on walls or ceilings. 6. **Close the Windows and Use Screens**: Once you’ve dealt with the immediate issue, consider closing the window or using a window screen to prevent mosquitoes from coming in again. If it’s too hot, you can use a fan or air conditioning instead. 7. **Essential Oils**: Some essential oils, like lavender, eucalyptus, or citronella, can help repel mosquitoes. You can diffuse them in your room or apply them to your skin. Taking these steps should help you manage mosquitoes in your room while keeping it cool.
Sometimes (for old ones) you need to push a little hard to close it properly. Otherwise check that there is no problem with the closing mechanism. Try that and let me know please
