Metro Trains at Heatherdale

Heatherdale station, on the Belgrave/Lilydale line in Melbourne's east, was opened in 1958 and is situated in the suburb of Ringwood next to the EastLink tollway. The station was upgraded in 2007 and given new station buildings as part of the EastLink tollway project, but was totally rebuilt below ground in 2016 with the grade separation of the adjacent level crossing on Heatherdale Road. Here we see some X'Trapolis trains in action just prior to afternoon peak on a weekday
