A novice question for sure but.....How on earth can you sacrifice so much altitude with a low pass of the field and then gain so much altitude? Is your airspeed really enough to climb so much without power? Absolutely incredible

Hi Chris, I made a homemade carbon fiber mount which is fixed on the wing directly. I can reach more than 200km/h without any issues.
Nice. What mount do you use to mount it to your wing. I want to mount one myself.
Home made mount with carbon fiber which match with the wing profile. Don't trust official Gopro's suction cup mountnot good on the glider's wing...

that many gliders wouldn't a tow wrench be more practical than a glider.
I have a gopro as well but I don't get this level of quality and color. How is the postprocessing and settings?
GoPro 4 et 7 with standard settings actually. 1080p with 60 fps. Post-processing with Sony Vegas Pro 13.

Home made system with carbon fiber. You are right, don't trust suction cup (even the official Gopro suction cup), several guys lost their Gopro like that...

What's the piece of string on the cockpit for?
That an indicator. We use it to fly symmetrical and have most aerodynamic efficiency through the air.
It shows you how the actual airflow around your plane is. If it isn't alligned with the fuselage, you are producing unnecessary drag.
How much does a glitter cost?
Depends of the model.
BTW - at least here in Europe - you don't own a glider, just join a club and you can fly with a really reasonable cost.
