Stayed in this area in 2013 and this video brought back lots of happy memories. The odd shaped building towards the end is the tourist visitors center and is a great place to get the A-Z map book. I just discovered your videos this past week and enjoy them immensely. Thank you for taking the time to do them. How in the world you can not speak during them is beyond me, I wouldn't be able to be quite and patient as you are during your walks. I'm staying in the Queen's Gate area April 2020 and am looking forward to discovering that area of London.
I went to Paternoster Square on a school trip in the early 80's and my god, you wouldn't believe what a grim, grey concrete dump of a place it was at the time with 60's brutalist buildings all around with cheap, tacky cafe's. To see it now, London really is another city compared to back then.
I was at One New Change in 2016 and the views up there are fantastic! But it was at night and I was hoping to come back up there in the daytime when I went back to London last May, but just never had time :(
Although I really really love your vids, I would also love to see less touristy spots of London, to get a glimpse of the life of the ordinary Londoner. You know, just residential suburbia :-)
This was really an excellent video, showing just how much of interest there is in this small area. In order to really appreciate it viewers need to consult your list of features, which is excellent. St Paul's is probably the most valued building in London, with the Houses of Parliament a close second. Would you consider adding a narration to some of your earlier videos?
Thanks John! I have in the last several weeks started to add narration via the subtitles/cc feature, so viewers can turn that on to read some basic details if they wish. As and when I get time I'll try to add it to more of my older videos.
Impossible to place any value on these buildings, they are all priceless and cannot be quantified. And nowhere in your list js Westminster Abbey, which is far older and therefore more historic than either St Paul's or the Palace of Westminster.
ds1868 I know what you say is absolutely true, but one is tempted to make these sort or judgments sometimes. It shouldn't be taken too seriously, just a means of one expressing one's love and affection for something.
What a change. I have a question W.W. It looks like late Feb or early March and yet the people are both sleeveless and sitting in deck chairs, can you tell me when this was made? Looking at it again I am thinking April, what with the flowers.??
Paternoster Row and the entire vicinity of St Paul's particularly the north side of the cathedral was destroyed by German bombing in the war. It is a miracle the cathedral survived at all. Please temper your comment with a little more knowledge of the facts.
I live in London but have visited Paris many times. Both are great cities, but of the two London has much, much more to offer,it is endless, and cannot be compared to any other city I have visited. As Dr Johnson said "If you are tired of London you are tired of life".
@MrAeronuk1 Paris is horrible. Take away the Baron Haussman boulevards built in the 19th century and it has nothing. The people living there are also rude and unfriendly. The Paris Metro stinks of urine and crime is rampant. London with all its problems is still by far the better city, and is quite easily the greatest city in Europe.
that's exactly what i was thinking. As much as i like the channel i would love to see "the real face of london", rough streets and all that. Come on, we need some balance.
You're asking him to enter and walk around places in London from which he might not return...If you want to see those type of places in London, then you go there.

Is it true that London would allow people to get in the country are those who could speak in English fluently?
Is it true that England would allow people to get in the country are those only who could speak in English fluently?

Central London really has transformed for the better, it’s such a nice place to walk around now.
Yeeeeh fantastic vídeo 👍👍👌👌
Thank you!
Very beautiful.
Cool vid
I love London
I love the background noise.
I was at One New Change in 2016 and the views up there are fantastic! But it was at night and I was hoping to come back up there in the daytime when I went back to London last May, but just never had time :(
Well hopefully you’ll get the chance again in the future :)

AMAZING
Yesssssssss
Although I really really love your vids, I would also love to see less touristy spots of London, to get a glimpse of the life of the ordinary Londoner.
You know, just residential suburbia :-)
Marinka Vredegoor If you look at Watched Walker Croydon walk, this should satisfy your desire for suburbia.
Absolutly great

Good guess, yes it’s April, the date is in the description btw. We had some very nice weather this year :)
thanks
?nice video. in what month was it filmed
ok i saw when it filmed.
nice tell me Which software do you edit video?
Premiere Pro.
What's the roof top? Free for tourists?
Yes, it's free to visit - viewing area and bars etc.
Love UK since in Africa
I wish I could go there.
I like your video.
I would have love to have seen Paternoster Row 70 years ago. It's a shame they didn't even try to rebuild sympathetically.
wolfnipplechips Yes that would've been nice. There's far too much shiny glass in the City these days.
Paternoster Row and the entire vicinity of St Paul's particularly the north side of the cathedral was destroyed by German bombing in the war. It is a miracle the cathedral survived at all. Please temper your comment with a little more knowledge of the facts.
😊👍
Ver la catedral me recordó la película V for Vendetta
I dont know if many will hate this, but to me, London seems better than Paris.
London is infinitely better than Paris. I was in Paris last year and it is becoming a complete toilet.
London is the greatest city in the world.
I live in London but have visited Paris many times. Both are great cities, but of the two London has much, much more to offer,it is endless, and cannot be compared to any other city I have visited. As Dr Johnson said "If you are tired of London you are tired of life".

Enough of the posh London show us some Lewisham, East End, Stratford, White Chapel, Kingston Upon-Thames lol
But I like posh London! lol

Lmao you don't even know those places, far from non go zones
