It is the copper sulfate solution. Its generally called copper sulfate electroforming solution. One is sold on amazon but i have never bought it so i cant recommend it. I use the midas copper sulfate solution from riogrande.

Is the process dangerous? Does it produce harmful gases? Do you use precautions, such as masks and glasses?
The tutorial is very nice, thanks for sharing your knowledge💞

Always use proper ppe. Gloves, goggles, respirator when possible. No fumes or vocs are exerted from the use. But respirator is needed when cleaning or using liver of sulfur.

I sculpted it out of polymer clay. It got coated in conductive paint and is now formed in copper.

That's a nice piece and I love the wire wrapped around the bail. I wanted to ask what is the black Midas exactly do? Does it oxidize or just paint the piece black?

It oxydized just like LoS (liver of sulfur - for my non metal friends)... i find it gives it a different chemical reaction and its also faster.

So glad I found your tutorial! I’m sure I’ll have more questions but first ~
What is the tool you use to apply the latex?
    😊 Thanks!

I use the silicone clay forming/sculpting tools. You can use anything plastic/non-absorbent.

Hey. How are these materials soldered?

This one is electroformed, not soldered.
