I still love the first movie design where you couldn't see the Xenomorph's eye holes🖤👍. This version reminds me of the Hybrid Xenomorph from Alien Resurrection.
Totally agree. And while I think the newness of the alien maybe added to the mystery of it, I liked the fact you could never really see it in its entirety in the first movie. And there were some deleted scenes of the creature that looked completely silly. Thank god they cut those. I thought Resurrection had some cool (and disturbing) plot lines, but there were too many plot holes. And WTF is Winona Rider doing in this movie.
@@SATHYA8492 always thought they were kinda like bat's using echo location to see. but ripley want the alien to be representation of man inner beast an doom.
i literally just finished making a life size xeno and was looking for a mask like this, couldn't find one so i 3d printed the head and made it a static prop. had i found this mask i would have made the full costume. this looks phenomenal.
I'm 53 years old. I have watched Alien probably 40+ times in my life. It's my 5th favorite movie. I have owned a couple of Xenomorph toys in the past about 20 years ago.... Yet, this is the first time this week that I realize that under that transparent dome, there's actually a human skull with the eyes and nose holes.
@fbanget you literally said, "There's actually a human skull with eyes and nose holes" it's just a skull. No specific species . You do know everything besides humans have skulls correct?
The mask is really well done, but the skull eyes are too visible. Original wasn't like that, to the point you could only notice them at very close distance, only; and I repeat, notice, not fully seeing them.
I believe I have one of those original 50 foam filled ones in my basement. I bought it for $100 from a friend who use to work for Distortions up in Greeley CO. Back in the 90’s
You should have made a few more. I was on the website as soon as I heard and had trouble placing an order. I contacted Marsha and she informed me they sold out quick and plan another run in 2025. I had my credit card ready. Bummer.
Alien 1 and 2 are one of my most favorite movies. But I never really loved the Big Chap look. I mean the Skull that you can see. The whole Black head is much scarier
The original Giger's design have big insectoid lateral eyes but Ridley Scott through the alien look scarier without eyes and the rest is history. PD The big insectoid lateral eyes still in the chestbuster.

Which they just copied in the new movie lol
@@renevil2105 never made sense since the Xenomorph don't have eyes it's just weird to have 2 Eye Holes🤣.

I wouldn't say it's human.
@@CitridOCD didn’t say it’s human. But that the front of the skull is human-like

@@CitridOCD right. My bad. I meant human like.
Yeah and only in the first film's version I believe.

If I'm not mistaken, the skull was only visible in the first film. In Aliens, we didn't see it?
Distortions is incredible!
Dang, you need to make a lot more of these. Sold out on 1st day....
Amazing. I'm guessing you had the license specifically for wearable masks, so it had to be a mask, not a sculpture! Added bonus
HC is just getting better and better each year! I love to see it, another amazing Halloween company growing is amazing!

Think of when Giger was originally making it
The bulge of the skull is too pronounced.
Also the jaw is too big.
Y'all should do a review about the adult meat hook mask
HOW much?
Don't like show the skull.
Can you say “bring this back to life” just one more time, please
Bring this back to life.
Cry about it
Sick
imagine the inner mouth can launch 🤣🤣
would be perfect to pair with 2 chestbusters on body (one front one back) for Halloween🤣🤣🤣
Wish I had the $1,800 to buy one
I want one but a full suit Lol
Only 20…
Bring your bank!
not a fan of the clear variant
That's the original Giger design though.
I would have rather seen the making of the mask
site says currently not available...
Only 20 were made ...
