If Caroline Barnes was standing behind me at a cosmetic counter with advice simmering below the surface on my selections, I would joyfully happily ecstatically put myself in her professional hands
So glad to hear Caroline encouraging us older people to wear sparkly eyes. At 66 I love my Pat Mcgrath eye pallets and the pleasure playing with different looks brings me!!xx
I love nice pink lips and cheek. So happy to see them used in a tutorial after the long era of nude and warm toned makeup (tough your tutorials have always had nice variety of looks). I would like to see full face one brand looks. Let it be Lisa Eldridge, Max Factor or any other brand.
Love this look on you 💗 Full face of Lisa Eldridge would be amazing. Oh to sit down with a cup of tea with you and Lisa and talk makeup..❤ Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Hello CAroline, another great video. My fav Saturday treat! Would love to see a video with just Lisa Eldrige products, I also love her videos and her products look lovely. Your videos, Lisa Eldridge & Wayne Goss are my favourite MUA videos, so generous of you to share your great tips and advice. And I especially like the fact that you all include 'older ladies/ people'; not just fresh-faced 25 year old; 99% of young people are going to look great with any products! 😄😄🤩
So happy to see the Vichy Capital Soleil Uv-Age Daily Fluid Spf 50+ getting the ♥ and attention it deserves. It has been my HG sunscreen for the past year, and I love how cosmetically elegant it is. Love, love, love pink!
Would love you to do a full video featuring Lisa’s beautiful products, Caroline. Better yet, could you get her to join you? That really would be spoiling us.
What a beautiful shade of pink! This is literally how my Grandmother taught me to do cream blush back in the late 80s ( but I must admit I used lipstick, two birds and all) 😂
Lovely makeup Caroline. I like the pinks as it is my favorite color. Also I like the eye products you chose. Would like to see a full face of Lisa Eldridge makeup. I am wanting to try the dancing rose lip gloss! I have enjoyed her products that I have purchased. Always look forward to your tutorials ! 🌸
This look is so beautiful; love the bright pink. Always such a joyful colour. It's amazing how colour can bring a face to life. My favourite lipstick is by Chanel is a medium fuschia called Jean. I bought it not for the colour but because it's my name and definitely wasn't a colour I would have ever thought of wearing but everytime I wear it I feel alive, and it brings me such joy!!!!
Hi Caroline, loved this look with the pink blush at a higher placement, and that gorgeous pink lip! The pink against the black of your top, that contrast is lovely. Thank you for this video and I’d really like to see the Urban Decay color of lipstick as I really like that color too. 😊
I wasn’t totally convinced by this look til you added the lip colour to the cheeks that completely brought it all together , brilliant. I agree with the mascara issue and the hooded eye . I’m usually holding a mirror in one hand and mascara in the other none left to lift the skin and s blob every time.
I’m new here, thank goodness I can see your face. I’ve been watching other makeup tubers who use so much lighting I can’t see their face. It’s great to see what you’re talking about. Thanks so much.❤
Love the pink on , it really is beautiful. It’s like someone dropped a dash of spring on your face! I’m loving the pink trend, just ordered 3 more yesterday. Lol
Away with the autumn blushes and lippies! In with the spring! Love the pinks for sure. I am looking forward to using my MAC Pidgeon Pink...also must look out for Bora Bora in the ELF putty blushes. Thanks for the inspirational makeup look, Caroline.
Hi Caroline, thank you for this video this morning. I'm not feeling very well but it's just what I needed to help spur me on and get me in the mood to get ready later to go to a family function tonight. Love the idea of before and after shots. Could you do a full makeup look with Tropic Skincare Makeup please? xx
Would love to see a full face of Lisa Eldridge. I love pinks!!! I am very fair, with blue eyes and pink has always been my go to color. Pink & blk together. My mother had a chanel pink & black suit and winter white & blk sweater suit with flower buttons from the late 50's. I still have the 2.55 quilted bag & blk kitten heal pump with bow. Much like the ones worn by Audrey Hepburn. No one can wear the pumps, she was very tiny and had tiny feet, but I can't let them go & they still look new. My father was in the Military & my mother was German. In those days you always dressed to travel & she entertained a lot and dressed to😘 My favorite was a red satin Dior cocktail dress and blk Dior sleavless sheath, which she sometimes wore with either chanel jacket. I've rambled long enough, but loved the way women used to dressed up.
So pretty Caroline. It's funny that the 'youth' are applying blush high up as they're the group that least need a lift! I've been doing my blush high for years but I've got mature skin that needs all the help it can get to hide the sag 😏. Place your makeup in the areas that will most benefit your features. Your tip about mattifying the lips is so helpful. Lovely video x
I'm relatively new to your channel, but this was amazing! I am 66, I love the pinks, I can't believe how beautiful it was on your face! Love the lips, and that you used a bit of the lipstick to draw that color into the cheek and up into (barely there) upper eye, so pretty! I agree Lisa Eldridge is incredible as an artist, a makeup artist, and now producing so many quality makeup items (lips/eyes...). I will be getting some of the Trinny London products, as I have lip lines and the product you used seemed to settle everything in such a fresh unfussy way, wow! Thank you for yet another lovely video...
So I usually wait until Saturday morning to comment, but I recently purchased this SPF 30 product from ELF called Suntouchable Whoa Glow. It reminds me of the NARS illuminating primer. It has a peachy tone , is very hydrating and it’s $15 in the States. I’ve been wearing it for the past few days and have not needed to wear much foundation. My skin feels soft too.
What a nice makeup look! I personally have been doing too much in the nude shades, and you’ve given me a great makeup look to strive for to wear to a wedding at the end of the month along with my black outfit. Can you recommend another blurring primer product that works like Trinny London for around my lips as well? Hard to find in the states. Thank you!
A before and after shot wouldn't help me to decide whether to watch your videos as I literally watch everything you post, but it might be fun! I always come away a) having learnt something new and b) feeling better! Thank you for your playful and joyful approach to makeup (and life!) 🌷💖
I’ve always used benefit brow setter and loved it but tried the swarzkopf Got 2 be brow, and oh wow, it’s sooo good and it’s about a fiver! Yes please to an LE look and maybe a classic Chanel look would be lovely too please I do love Elf, their blushes are great
I came here to comment about the brow setter! I used to use extra strong hair gel and a spoolie (a tiny dot at a time and a tube would last me forever) However just found the Got 2 Be Brow in a Savers shop for £3.99 and wow, it's so good! Much easier to apply and have in my make up bag but has the same hold as the extra strong gel I had been using
Hi Caroline , love this look on you , look forward to ur videos with my morning coffee on the weekends , I was so glad to hear you say that foundation loiks very obvious on thick skin , this is a problem I have , I use the tiniest amount and feel it loiks very obvious , I much prefer a natural look but struggle to achieve this , would love any tips or tricks , nobody on you tube talks about this , thank you so much you are beautiful inside and out xx
You're so beautiful Caroline, everything looks so good on you: bareface, pink makeup, a red lip... I also learn so much from your makeup tips and love how you encourage people to embrace their very own beauty
Yes I’d like a before and after pic! You look so beautiful, both before and after! Really love this look and love your philosophy on makeup looking beautiful on all skin ages. Just wear what we love and what we feel like! Great news for me as I’ve only embraced makeup properly since I’ve turned 50 😍 You’ve been the biggest influence and inspiration for me. Thank you so much xx
Very pretty look. I didn’t realize that wearing blush this way was a trend. I have a round face so I’ve always worn my blush on the top of my cheek bones and blended it up to my temples. I think this has been around but the younger ones are rediscovering the technique. ( not the first thing from my past that’s back in fashion!)
I agree about the Vichy sunscreen Caroline. Also it doesn't break you out. I have reactions to most sunscreens on my face but this is great and doesn't make you shiny. Just wish it was cruelty free.
Funny that I saw everywhere on social media people apply blush like this and I never wanted to follow but for the first time I want to try after I saw your video. You are like someone I trust. I'm your fan for a very long time.😁
This higher placement of blush definitely suits me better… Apparently there are some apps on t’interweb 😂 , which take your face shape into account and tell you the best places to put contour, blusher, highlighter, etc. Have a lovely weekend, Caroline! xx PS I have intervened on behalf of my profession if I’ve overheard people talking about something they’ve invented. I tell them to be quiet, not tell a soul and find a patent attorney asap. So I’m sure people would be very grateful for your input at the Boots counter. I know I would be!!!❤
Such a pretty look and I will definitely be trying the higher blush placement and subtle merging with the eye inspired by the "youth". Love your humour! Also, not sure if it's because I rewatched Hairspray recently but you gave me gorgeous Michelle Pfeiffer vibes. 💖
Thank you for discussing balance. It's often overlook yet so impactful. My trick is to decide what will be featured, a lipstick or a shadow. I limit glitter/shine to one area of the face. I don't want to be mutton, dressed as lamb. PS: Your pink look makes my heart sing. Pink is for all stages of beauty.
I d love to see any Lisa Eldridge products. Also, I always wonder who knows who and how well because I am, let’s face it, nosy. Now that you shared this small insight re: Ms Eldridge, my curiosity is satiated. ❤
What a gorgeous feminine look. I really love the lipstick and liner. Well I actually love everything about it, including your nails. Perfect when wearing black. The pink really pops! Thanks for bringing in the Daffodils at the end. A really feel good video 🩷 xx
Caroline would love an update on light tinted moisturising foundations... after 2 (Covid mistakes) with these products I am teetering over what to buy.... what’s a flattering one for mature skin!
Oh wow. I really disliked the blush as it looked to me very much like the eighties stripe - until the very end when you added the lipstick colour and merged into the eye area. What a difference such a simple tweak made. Gorgeous. Really love the BFF on you too - I’m still struggling to find my Trinny shade, I simply don’t know the answers to the questions on her website even when I’m looking at myself in the mirror 😅. The miracle blur I do have though!
It's amazing what just the brows do to a face. Beautiful look. About the dark spots: i had tretoin on subscription. My dermatologist recommended the serum and everyday moisturer with spf by the French pharmacy brand Eucerin and it really works. When i stopped with the serum i saw a difference again in 2 weeks so now i keep using it.
Hi Caroline I've always used my blush on my cheekbones (since the eighties lol), but I have a round face and it always just looked better there on me. Funny that I'm trendy suddenly. Using blush on the "apples" of the cheek just made my face look rounder and that wasn't what I wanted. Nowadays I want a more lifted look overall, so the blush placement continues to be on the cheekbones and slightly into the temple area. I like pink - it's a very brightening shade and peach has never looked good on me. Despite having rosacea I still wear pinky blushes, but I'm very cool toned overall with grey eyes and blonde hair. Mauve is my most worn blush shade (cooler more purple leaning shades), but I do like a blue based pink in Spring/Summer. I'm not a bright/bold lip person, but perhaps a more muted pink would also be pretty in a similar look. I am looking forward to wearing some colour again going into Spring and there are a lot of bright shades in clothing this year I noticed. Best wishes.
You're SO right about wearing lipstick without a base. I always look odd when I wear lipstick without a base, even with my best and favourite lipstick! I thought it was just me...anyway, thanks for sharing❤
I have recently started watching your channel and I am addicted! I have realised that I need some new brushes, are there any you recommend for a bit of a novice please 😍
I was just looking at another creator when a wish for a Caroline Barnes video was added to my wish list: mascaras for eyes that are sensitive, dry (ageing?), that doesn’t leave you looking like a raccoon despite using eye drops or transfer on hooded lids. I find this the hardest part of doing makeup.
Love your pink-makeup & room!💕 I prefer the “best” rather than sticking to one brand. Re: Miracle Blur-have you tried NYX Pore Filler stick? I apply it with a brush & feels similar to Trinny’s product @1/4 of the price! Hope your son likes the🇺🇸!
If Caroline Barnes was standing behind me at a cosmetic counter with advice simmering below the surface on my selections, I would joyfully happily ecstatically put myself in her professional hands
So would I!!!❤️
So would I 😊
That would be my dream!
And mine! ❤😅
OMG same. So same. ❤
Great vid Caroline yes to the Lisa Eldridge ❤❤
Whole Lisa Eldridge please
So glad to hear Caroline encouraging us older people to wear sparkly eyes. At 66 I love my Pat Mcgrath eye pallets and the pleasure playing with different looks brings me!!xx
I’ll drink to that, Julie. 73 here. Also love the Charlotte Tilbury quads with the sparkly 4th one.
Yes JULIE 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
My Gram is in her 80s. She taught me how to apply makeup when I was young and she rocks sparkly shadow. Age is just a number ❤
Try the RMS cream eyeshadow in Strobe 🥰 with a thin eyeliner Pat McGrath Blitz Blue 😀
I’m 58
If you like sparkly, try the Revlon cream shadow in 740 😀
@Mary Allan yaay ...great to hear this Mary !!
I love nice pink lips and cheek. So happy to see them used in a tutorial after the long era of nude and warm toned makeup (tough your tutorials have always had nice variety of looks). I would like to see full face one brand looks. Let it be Lisa Eldridge, Max Factor or any other brand.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.
Such a beautiful, uplifting, REAL woman 🩷
Love those bright pinks Caroline, so pretty and cheerful - just what's needed this time of year. Yes to a face of Lisa Eldridge products please 💖
Yes. A whole face with one brand would be fun. Thank you!
Both you and Lisa are so lovely! A joy to watch!!
Would love to see a full Lisa Eldridge. Look xx 17:11

Other video requests (videos with 1 range only) - Sculpted by Aimee, Wayne Goss & Vieve. Thanks Caroline, love the pink lippy.. ! 💄💄😜
Yes I’d love to see a full face of Lisa Eldridge and other brands. Maybe not Pat McGrath because it’s SO expensive! X
Your a breath of fresh air Caroline😊 your look great your skin is amazing. Just love checking in with you on sat morning. ❤️
Such a beautiful, femine soft look, must try those eyeshadow by Lisa, just looks lovely 😍
I love your energy and your honesty ❤❤
So happy to see the Vichy Capital Soleil Uv-Age Daily Fluid Spf 50+ getting the ♥ and attention it deserves. It has been my HG sunscreen for the past year, and I love how cosmetically elegant it is. Love, love, love pink!
You are so uplifting Caroline. 🥰
So Springy!!! Thank you 😊 A full Lisa Eldridge face please 🙏 😊
Would love you to do a full video featuring Lisa’s beautiful products, Caroline. Better yet, could you get her to join you? That really would be spoiling us.
What a beautiful shade of pink! This is literally how my Grandmother taught me to do cream blush back in the late 80s ( but I must admit I used lipstick, two birds and all) 😂
Beautiful look. Great idea with the before and after.
Caroline you are so lovely, positive and genuine. I love watching your tutorials and Im 60
I really like the revolution fast base stick foundation, so underrated. So love the pat McGrath duo blushers such a nice blend on the face
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Yes please. I’d love a full one brand video. Fun!
Ahh man 😩 I wish I lived in the UK! You guys have such a great vast of products.
I think the wall color is fantastic!
This look is gorgeous on you. Love the Lisa Eldridge in the look too. Your videos are my weekend treat and always make me smile 😊
Oh I’m so pleased Alison 😃😃😃😃
Love Trinny bff really great for lazy no make up days makes a great primer too wouldn't be without it 🙂

It’s a process Sue 🤩😃
So satisfying watching you apply lipstick Caroline, you can tell the process is enjoyable, any way, lovely tutorial.☕
Spring has definitely sprung in your home! Great look Caroline (love those eyeshadows).....and yes please to a full face of Lisa Eldridge 😘
I love the BFF Perfector, I use it everyday, it just wakes up my skin!
I love all of Lisa Eldridge’s products. The new gloss embrace is so good!!!!
Yes to before/after and yes to full face of same brand! X thank you for teaching us…
I’m new here, thank goodness I can see your face. I’ve been watching other makeup tubers who use so much lighting I can’t see their face. It’s great to see what you’re talking about. Thanks so much.❤
hello caroline, this makeup is really pretty, I love the lip pencil and this lipstick, thank you for this tutorial😍😍😍
Great look - love this blush placement! Would love to see an all Lisa Eldridge look, although I do enjoy all the variety.
Just found your channel and wow!, what a refreshing find! Your wholesomeness, energy & knowledge are a breath of fresh air for all of us.
Love the pink on , it really is beautiful. It’s like someone dropped a dash of spring on your face! I’m loving the pink trend, just ordered 3 more yesterday. Lol

How are you feeling today? Better I hope 🤞🏻

Finally a pink makeup look that works for me. No pink on the eye but a beautiful cheek and lip. It just says Spring. Thank you.
Hey Caroline beautiful spring look
Always look forward to Saturday ❤
What a nice makeup look! I personally have been doing too much in the nude shades, and you’ve given me a great makeup look to strive for to wear to a wedding at the end of the month along with my black outfit. Can you recommend another blurring primer product that works like Trinny London for around my lips as well? Hard to find in the states. Thank you!
Looks stunning - you give me confidence to try using make up and a before and after would be good idea
A before and after shot wouldn't help me to decide whether to watch your videos as I literally watch everything you post, but it might be fun! I always come away a) having learnt something new and b) feeling better! Thank you for your playful and joyful approach to makeup (and life!) 🌷💖
Oh Kirsty messages like yours keep me ploughing on!
I’ve always used benefit brow setter and loved it but tried the swarzkopf Got 2 be brow, and oh wow, it’s sooo good and it’s about a fiver! Yes please to an LE look and maybe a classic Chanel look would be lovely too please
I do love Elf, their blushes are great
I came here to comment about the brow setter! I used to use extra strong hair gel and a spoolie (a tiny dot at a time and a tube would last me forever) However just found the Got 2 Be Brow in a Savers shop for £3.99 and wow, it's so good! Much easier to apply and have in my make up bag but has the same hold as the extra strong gel I had been using
Yes please, before and after pics would be great
Hi Caroline , love this look on you , look forward to ur videos with my morning coffee on the weekends , I was so glad to hear you say that foundation loiks very obvious on thick skin , this is a problem I have , I use the tiniest amount and feel it loiks very obvious , I much prefer a natural look but struggle to achieve this , would love any tips or tricks , nobody on you tube talks about this , thank you so much you are beautiful inside and out xx
You're so beautiful Caroline, everything looks so good on you: bareface, pink makeup, a red lip... I also learn so much from your makeup tips and love how you encourage people to embrace their very own beauty
Young, fresh, beautiful! 🌸 I will try it as well! ❤️
Very pretty look. I have the darker Lisa Eldridge eyeshadow and it’s lovely on hazel eyes.
I agree about the Vichy sunscreen Caroline. Also it doesn't break you out. I have reactions to most sunscreens on my face but this is great and doesn't make you shiny. Just wish it was cruelty free.
So beautiful look 🍀 i love the blush and trinny cream😍
Thank you for the cheer and fun new ideas for makeup! Love love love this look.
Funny that I saw everywhere on social media people apply blush like this and I never wanted to follow but for the first time I want to try after I saw your video. You are like someone I trust. I'm your fan for a very long time.😁
I love love all Lisa Eldridge makeup! Her lipglosses are all I wear nowadays 😍 So yes to the full face of Lisa!
A side-by-side comparison of the before and after would bei great! 🤩
I know I would be!!!❤
Ooh would like to look at these 🤔 enjoy your Sunday KAte 💁🏼♀️
Hello Kate
Pretty in pink! lovely video
Such a pretty look and I will definitely be trying the higher blush placement and subtle merging with the eye inspired by the "youth". Love your humour! Also, not sure if it's because I rewatched Hairspray recently but you gave me gorgeous Michelle Pfeiffer vibes. 💖
Hi Caroline! I’m new here, hello from Atlanta, Georgia! I love your hair color and cut, just beautiful. Thanks for the video!😀
Hi Caroline, I’m getting big Kylie Minogue vibes from this look 😍
Yes to b4 & after shots 😊
Thank you for discussing balance. It's often overlook yet so impactful. My trick is to decide what will be featured, a lipstick or a shadow. I limit glitter/shine to one area of the face. I don't want to be mutton, dressed as lamb.
PS: Your pink look makes my heart sing. Pink is for all stages of beauty.
I d love to see any Lisa Eldridge products. Also, I always wonder who knows who and how well because I am, let’s face it, nosy. Now that you shared this small insight re: Ms Eldridge, my curiosity is satiated. ❤
Yes to before and after please. Thx Caroline
What a gorgeous feminine look. I really love the lipstick and liner. Well I actually love everything about it, including your nails. Perfect when wearing black. The pink really pops! Thanks for bringing in the Daffodils at the end. A really feel good video 🩷 xx
Another great video. Could you do a Chanel look - especially with the cream bronzer - previous version? Thanks so much
You are absolutely gorgeous and just as lovely as LE!!
Caroline would love an update on light tinted moisturising foundations... after 2 (Covid mistakes) with these products I am teetering over what to buy.... what’s a flattering one for mature skin!
very fresh and pretty!
Love the new background. ❤
Love this look
Thanks Dorothy 😘
Like your makeup colors and techniques the best! Thank you.
I would love to see a Delilah makeup tutorial and your thoughts on the products 😊
Love it! Beautiful
Please use some jane iredale...maybe the sunbeam bronzer. I use it for everything, incl eyeshadow. Would love to see what you can create with it🥰
Hi Caroline I've always used my blush on my cheekbones (since the eighties lol), but I have a round face and it always just looked better there on me.
Would love before and after ❤
Wish I had Caroline's lightness of touch! Think I can be too heavy-handed sometimes. Would love to see a full Lisa Eldridge look.
Farrow & Ball is the best, several rooms and a hallway are all done in Downpipe, the most perfect greygreen, rich yet foggy, the best!
That is such a beautiful look
You are so clever with make up - I pulled out all my make up and toiletries and decided I will give Max Factor a go
You're SO right about wearing lipstick without a base.
