That is a relief. There is stress in moving from the office to the field, but at least it is stress that you have some control over. It will also present you with opportunities to sell yourself to a variety of people in your industry. I have worked for firms that failed before. In hindsight, I wish I had bailed on these firms and followed the growth wherever I might have found it. If you have trouble sleeping and getting out of fight or flight mode; you might want to try melatonin as a sleep aid for a period of time. Go easy on the dosage as your Irish heritage will probably make you highly sensitive to it. And, some moderate routine exercise really helps in improving sleep and access to the parasympathetic system. Take care of yourself into this Fall and Winter.
