Honestly id say yea, I do regret not going for the 1le I couldnt find a 1le in this color which is the main reason i didnt go for it but it is worth it you get lots of extra things alcantetera wheel and shifter, HUD, recording camera, Recaro seats, a nicer set of wheels and tires, aero package, etc….Id say it’s worth it

I owned a 2016 5.0 with that manual M82 transmission and I had nothing but problems, didn't like the way it slid In and out of gears and it hung up in 3rd It was so bad I abandoned Ford and manual transmission all together. Turn to the 10spd automatic ZL1, just awesome but in this 6 spd SS the shifting looks so damn smooth I'm impressed

I have a 2012 V6 model, and its been the most fun car I have ever driven, my first manual too, but I really do wish I had the power n sound of that V8! She sounds so good. Next time I am def upgrading.
When you buy your next car, just buy one, trust me you will learn quick. I never drove one before and bought mine, took a week or so to start feeling confident but its well worth the awkward phase cause it really is so much fun. (sometimes annoying tho, if you live near a lot of traffic!)

Quick question, whats your opinion on when you're approaching a red light, is it bad to just put it in neutral and slow down that way or should I be downshifting even though I know I'll be coming up to a dead stop. I've heard mix opinions, I have a 2019 1ss and I've just been downshifting because I heard its bad for the rear diff to cruise in neutral. IDK, maybe I'm just overthinkning things, as I always do. lol
I do both it depends on the situation, as far as I know its actually worse to downshift because it causes more strain on the trans, i usually just cruise into a stop after like 3rd gear, but the strain it causes when downshifting at lower rpms is minimal👍….I think

@@jr6speed23 you have to be above 4k RPM for it to be able to engage, lmao I did the shit at like 3500 before I figured it out and felt stupid as fuck hahaha. The sound it makes when you shift is so wild, its addicting dude. look up what it actually does when it retards the engine and all that shit, it's a cool feature. I feel doesn't really lose/gain any real speed shifting on an NA motor, only when you're boosted as you're not dropping out of boost in the shift anymore

How reliable has it been?
For me just oil changes so far, I did get a Service ESC light but that was cause of the cars battery going out, got replaced under warranty though

Holding your clutch in while at a stop is terrible, put it neutral before you stop
