You can make your own case out of a tuck case so it'll look like the deck came out of there.
Ive had well over a year. A real worker. Also it can handle other objects, too.
A worker for pros. I'ved used it to fool other magicians, too. Many routines where the mind doesn't race to a stack or a scale.

If I were a full time professional this kind of thing becomes a very good idea, even if it's only used as a failsafe. The same way a marked deck lets you double check that your ACR is going well, this thing checks a LOT.

One small correction. I think Nick mentions it in the tutorial, it if he doesn’t we can update the tutorial. You can use it on many card mats. If you turn the scale upside down the feet press up against the deck shell and the scale presses against the mat. It the mat is to plushy you can run into issues, but most close up pads will work. You just have to change the orientation of the scale in the deck shell.

The technology is unbelievable BUT I still think it looks incongruent to have to balance the deck on the tuck box (pleased you mentioned this !!) This makes it a definite 'NO' for me & this is also not the first device to market that offers these functions.

It actually WAS the first scale to market. It's been out quite a while

@@JVic_JustJohn Sorry, if I am mistaken but I thought the Penguin version was launched at the earliest late December 2023 & Soul By Wenzi was certainly available September 2023. I make no comment on the quality of either product as I don't own either

I totally agree! I've been doing card magic for a long time and I've never had the cards set on the box. I suppose those who use it and love it would say that folks don't notice that, but it seems like a huge flag to me, as amazing as it otherwise looks.

The are so many "magical" routines that can be done with a stacked deck, does this really add that much? It's certainly cool tech, but does bring heat on the case.
I'm working my way through mneumonica as taught by Rick Lax. I think you've done a review of it.

Unfortunately, a little out of my price range as an amateur. That being said, I’ll put it on my Birthday wish list and hope for the best! Thanks for the review.

Some will suspect the tac case of the cards !! I wish there is another way to put the cards not above the tac case and to use it for walk around…

whats the logic of putting stuff on the deck? from the spectators point of view

On my wish list but a little pricey for me…for now. It would be great just sitting on my counter at work.

The only thing that bugs me about this is that you have to place the cards on top of the tuck case... that is so unnatural to me? Am i wrong in thinking this? The effect is so cool but having to have the cards on top of the deck.. to me needs some heavy justification. Might just be a magician over thinking it but i just see myself gettimg called out over having the cards set on top of the deck... iv never seen that occur naturally

Wow! This is great! But I feel like this is for those magicians who can't really rely on their memory or skill anymore. No disrespect. If you can afford it, why not? But it's too expensive for the hobbyist or those who want to improve their raw skills. Love from the Philippines!

Disagree with this comment. Lets one do much more than could be done with stacks alone.

Seems unnatural to always have to place the items on the "box". The table is empty so who are you piling up random items on that tiny card box? Kinda obvious that it's doing some funny business.

    • @magicorthodoxy
      @magicorthodoxy  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

the trick is to make it not "obvious"

What if the justification is don't want to dirty the deck of cards.
