    I use frozen bananas as a constant ingredient (roughly 50%) and mix it up w numerous different fruits. It makes the consistency like real ice cream. I’m addicted!!

      Do you have to blend the bananas beforehand, or can I slice them up and put it right into the cup?

    Hi Nikki and Adam! I'm loving these Ninja Creami videos as this machine has saved me from Dairy Queen all summer. One tip I have for concoctions that aren't sweet enough once you taste them...add a tablespoon of the Skinny Syrup "simple syrup" and respin. It won't add any flavor, just sweetness and extra creaminess. Yum!!

    @suzannabanana777 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Hi! To eliminate the ice, I use the lite ice cream mode, then add a little almond milk or cashew milk and also scrape down the sides and bottom to blend in the ice; then re-spin; then scrape once more and re-spin once more. The consistency is super creamy with no ice (if you scrape the sides and bottom). I use half a banana and protein shakes or powder + almond milk…no fats yet with this method, it always comes out super creamy

    I love my Ninja Cremi. One of my favorite recipes is: 1 can of mandarin oranges with sugar free juice, drain the juice in a separate bowl, lactose free milk with 1 tablespoon of SF vanilla pudding mix, mix together, pour over the mandarin oranges, mix together in ninja container, add a little bit of the juice to fill to the max line. Freeze. Use sorbet option. Yummy! 2 points per serving. Honestly, anything you come up with works!

    I’m convinced, ordering the machine. I love ice cream, but can’t eat it often, because “I’m Fat “. Stopped smoking and gained 25 lbs. So now I can’t smoke or eat my favorites. Such a vicious cycle 😂. I’m going to give it a shot. I think I would like to try some kind of coffee flavor. Love you guys ! Stay safe and healthy 😘

    You can use nonfat Greek yogurt or, and trust me, low-fat or nonfat cottage cheese with protein powder or whatever else you choose.

    I usually use a base of 1 fairlife protein shake, 1-2 tbps sugar free pudding mix and 1-2 tsp of flavored syrup or extract. I respin at least 3 times sometimes 4 to get it really creamy and I add 1 tbsp of creamer or almond milk before one of the respins. So delicious!

    Adding something like xantham gum or similar can help with preventing ice crystals from forming. Just a little per pint, like less than a gram because you don’t want to overdo it. I add protein powder to mine, and sweeten with monk fruit sweetener. Oh and just a warning about the pudding mix, don’t put too much in because it gets way too thick and throws the machine off balance which ends up scraping the container with the blade (Found out the hard way).

    Oh one other thing, you can do whatever fresh fruit you want just put it through a blender. The fiber helps with consistency I feel. I did half frozen blueberries and half non-dairy milk like that, then I added vanilla and lemon extracts and it came out amazing. My mother sent me one recipe that used canned pumpkin purée that I want to try out combined with some pumpkin spice extract I got.

    I’ve been experimenting with ice cream recipes , but I have a cuisinart. I find planet oat oatmilk unsweetened ( 45 cal per cup) I pt is the best base. Adding a pinch of xanthum gum gives it a better tongue feel and adding powdered butter for fat helps with the creamy texture. I use 2 Tbsp / three cups of liquid. Also I find protein drinks turn the ice cream hard. Try allulose for a sweetener to keep the texture softer. I’m the only one following WW in my house so my experiments are a slow go. I can only eat so much ice cream!

  • @poydie
    @poydie 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Try just ripe bananas, 4 of them. Freeze for 24 hrs and respin. You will be amazed by the consistency. I also like just a can of pineapple chunks in juice. Also an amazing consistency like your pears. Both are super simple and delicious! I'm looking forward to trying some of your creations from this video!

    I have a Ninja Blender that my son suggested. Just the basic Blender, no extras. I have used it for ice cream, ice cappuccinos, veggie smoothies and protein shakes. Even pancake batter. It sometimes makes more than I can eat or drink in a day ;) but it's great in the hot weather. I'm not on any diet to reduce weight or size. I'm at my best shape, for my height and body size. Just enjoying living out my old age in this wonderful new world, at near 75 :)

      Guar gum works, too. It might actually work a bit better for ice cream since it's essentially a thickener/stabilizer for cold items. Xanthan Gum is usually better for baked goods.
