My mech. removed thermostat valve because of overheating. Now he says let the summer pass then a new one will be put in its place. The reason he gives is that engine has over heated. Suggest further steps. I have sx4 2011 cng
I am not getting high temp indication ,fan running ok ,but I am feeling engine is feeling hot compared to previous it is alto k10 old,i have done tappet setting alto every 80000kms now it is 175000 kms,and on cng,ran about 150000 kms regular oil change and coolant change is there i use to use 10w40 oil now I have used 5w30 wiL it effect

Brother my coolant level reduces around 500ml every time i drive for 30 mins or more. There is no leakage visible anywhere. Sometimes that small expansion tank gets filled up n overflows What could be the reason
Meri gadi overheat behtareen control karti hai lekin ac chalu karne ke baad voh 90 degree pe pass chali jati hai aur ac trip hota hai aur gadi phir controll karti hai aur temp normal hota hai yesa baar baar hota hai
