Today, let us get inside The Prince of Peace Abbey. After which, let us walk around its grounds.
The Prince of Peace Abbey is a Benedictine Monastery situated on a mesa overlooking the San Luis Rey River Valley and the Pacific Ocean. It was founded in 1958 by monks of St. Meinrad Archabbey in Indiana. The facility serves as a retreat house and gardens for those seeking spiritual renewal.
The Benedictine Monks of the Prince of Peace Abbey belong to the Roman Catholic “Order of Saint Benedict” (The Benedictines). They have been in San Diego County since 1958 and are members of an uninterrupted tradition of more than 1,400 years.

Ohh this is lovely!! Those palm trees, I've never seen one ever in real life haha they look so summery!! The glass art inside the Monastery was just stunning, it felt like a peaceful, healing place. And that sky at the end was magnificent! Thanks for the tour Jean!!
