Well Mulan did show how she died but the ghosts are really just singing about there life NOT their death so ya like we were seeing people see the ghosts sing ing about life like in

I think Cinderellas a ghost who used to live in the house and when Milo looked in the glass heart he saw her memories

I think it sort of open to interpretation but what I got from it was that Cinderella and Charming are ghosts but trapped in two different plains of reality, thanks to the broken heart piece, unable to be together. Milo, in the living, sees the ghostly happenings in the house and puts the heart piece back together, allowing the two lovers to finally reunite.
