I'm from the UK. When I flew into the USA from Europe I initially landed in Seattle. Homeland Security in Seattle were the most unreasonable, illogical, humourless bastards you could meet. In stark contrast to the nice efficient HS people I encountered in Chicago and Utah.
Is there something in the water in Seattle or what? Turning uniforms into dickheads?

basing your viewpoint of Seattle residents off of an interaction with Homeland Security in Tacoma is pretty disingenuous but as a native we are definitely assholes to anyone not from here.

      Your post didn't disappoint.
I just made the point that the Homeland Security I encountered in Utah and Chicago were generally nice, friendly people.
The ones I encountered in Seattle were arseholes.
      Coincidence?
      Maybe.
      You be the judge.

Seattle actually has a mutual combat law. It’s actually the state of Washington. Texas has the same law. They are the only states in the country that have these. The only stipulation is that a police officer has to witness the fight and actually act as a referee. He has to break them up when there is a obvious winner. I know that it sounds crazy but look it up. Google Seattle,Wa mutual combat law. It’s legit

The name for Seattle is called “being over policed”. I’ve been in 20 states and Cartersville GA and St. Petersburg Fl are just like Seattle. You can’t fart without the police being up your ass. There were always so many arrests in GA that when you’d go to court, you couldn’t even get a seat in the courtroom. The doors had to be left open so all the folks could stand out in the hallways and stairwells. And 90% of the time you couldn’t get your case addressed that same day because there were 100’s of people on the docket every single day and have to come back to court each day for the whole week then get rescheduled to come back a month or two later. Then you’d spend another whole week in court waiting to get your named called. This went on for a year! I missed so much work for a traffic ticket. And I never met one honest or decent cop…not once. Because of this I cheer every time a cop get injured or killed on the job. I HATE the justice system!
