I was lucky enough to spend a week in Yellowstone National Park in late January of 2023. Temperatures reached as low as -38F! This was by far the coldest conditions I have ever shot in. The freezing temps and hot Geysers made for incredible photography conditions of yellowstone wildlife. This is the 3rd and final video I will be releasing from the trip. Hope you enjoy!

Yellowstone is a spectacular place anytime of year, but pure magic in winter. I visited in early March 1986 and was moved by its grandeur and unique landscape.

I'm curious if you bothered getting the film permits to Yellowstone and if so what that process was like. Utah national parks are very expensive and difficult to get permits.

Be careful walking up to the railings at the overlooks during the winter as the snow level reduces the height of the railing😮😮 you reach out to grab what's usually there in front of you to realize it's down at your shins and that your inches from going over the edge of the lower Falls in the Yellowstone Grand Canyon😮

I was In Yellowstone in August. Love this unique place in our country. I got some beautiful shots also. I also do photography. Love watching your videos.
We were also there during that time period. We were the lucky Lottery Winners for the Unguided Snowmobile Permits. Except it was -45deg when we tried to enter the park at 7 am. the park rangers made us wait until 9am when it warmed up to -30 to go in.

We recently discovered your channel, and we are pleased. Living in Pretoria, South Africa, those extreme temperatures are hard to imagine. Your wildlife photography is excellent and I think you would enjoy a visit to our Kuger National Park or the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Just know that temperature here is not -40°C, but rathe +40°C. 😂
