A most beautiful reflection...no one could bring a better reflection upon a reflection than Terence Malick and Nick Cave...your choices of images and musical commentary could not be better.
    Thank you

So many shots of people being sad on beaches and close-ups of grass? did you not like your choices? this sounds kind of snarky. I happen to like the accompanying video as done, but if you don't there are so many choices in these films. Or if you were criticizing the director in so saying, there are many others of those you can dedicate your time to. Then again....maybe it was an attempt at humor which evades me given the spiritual vibe of your post. I am a subscriber of yours, and also an appreciator of Mallick's work. Well done, imho.

He’s Nicholas winding refn without the substance. Fight me.

They have about as much in common as pizza and caviar. If visually pleasing shots and unconventional narratives make two infinitely different filmmakers the same to you, then you are really not in the position to deem malick's work as "lacking substance"

Nice attempt but I think the musical choice was awful. For some people (people like me) it is really hard to watch something and at the same time try to abstract ourselves from the fact that, in a completely unrelated manner, we're hearing someone's voice. It just ruins the whole thing (for me). I would have definitely used something instrumental.

Why not use one of Malik's own tracks? Sorry but a thumbs down/poor effort from me.

Because the whole point of this "Minutes" series is using music not found in the directors' films, but instead relates to the themes, aesthetics, and moods found in their work. In this instance, both Malick and Cave have grown increasingly spiritual and religious in their work, as well as embracing less linear/more freeform approaches to narrative.
