pro tip: use grain delay on tape hiss, risers, or any other white noise-ish FX to get different variety and control
been watching your tutorials for a year and this has easily been my favorite. I always get inspired watching your videos, thank you so much!
On the freeware side of things, closest seems to be the Calf vintage delay and mainly messing with it's subdivision and tempo settings. However the frequency separation ("Star wars") also means a pass through a comb filter, which is a different thing than the comb delays on the LADSPA/LV2 stuff as they don't quite work this way. At least if anyone was curious as to where to start in getting close to it with a different bag of tricks.
