Luckily, what you say does not happen with the translation into Latin Spanish, in that version that is how I saw it, Mitsuha when seeing her hand reads "I love you" in her mind, that is, it is heard with "voice over" ( I do not know how it will be said in English, but it is when the voice sounds in the background, I mean what is always used with thoughts, but in this case used to read things that are written in another language) and I am surprised to know that this does not happen in English, I knew that some subtitled versions suffered from this error, It's a shame because the "voice-over" is a very well-known, simple and effective method, I don't know why they would be overlooked, as I say at least here in Latam it is very common that when there are things written in another language they read them to you with a voice-over, I imagine there is also, only this time it happened to them. I don't EVER recall crying for so long after watching a movie. Used up a whole toiler paper roll and never wanted it to stop because it felt so deep, so good, so alive, so beautiful to cry like that. Just watched this trailer a year after watching the film aaaand here we go again.

I can’t help but envy all the characters in romance anime who are lucky enough to have a soul mate, of which they have no idea how lucky they are. Some think finding love is relatively easy, but in reality, especially in this world, it is one of the hardest if not THE hardest undertaking of mankind. Yet these shows make it seem as easy as a snap of the fingers. I’m already past the prime of my enchanted youth, and no matter how much I followed the rules of the game of love, I only ended up rejected. I’ve been heartbroken so many times that sometimes I feel like I’m going to die; that my heart is going to implode. I haven’t seen my therapist in person for over a year, I often have had suicidal thoughts and nightly meltdowns, and I’ve harmed myself multiple times. I’ve relied on heartfelt anime to make myself feel better, only to feel pain from yearning for a better life. I need help.
Me is now drowning in an indescribable emptiness T~T But ugh, I loved the movie😭 I really want to re-watch it soon. But I'd rather re-watch it when I grow up and go through it all as if it's my 1st time watching it🥺
All the happy go lucky Friday 13th stuff from the official trailers is a ruse. THIS is the true essence of the film once it gets going. Romance in the face of catastrophe. Equal part wonder and dread.
60fps looks gross when original is 24fps....it's meant to look like 24fps that's why it's was done on 24fps, next time try bigger number - 120fps or better - 240fps
I think this trailer kinda ruins the anticipation of the movie. It shows the best parts that give you goosebumps, yet it already spoils everyone watching this
