Thank you for this detailed video!! We will continue to improve our products and do better.😎
Sounds good. I think instead of having an entry level hose just sell one model with the good hose. The higher volume would probably lower cost and you could offer it at a lower price point.
Appreciate you actually paying for the unit and being honest in your reviews 💪👍
I get free stuff from time to time, but it’s always a no strings attached review. Sometimes they never contact me again. 😂 It beneficial to buy most of the time as I need tax write offs.
Thanks for the review Keav. I've had this unit (with the gray hose) for a number of months and it's worked flawlessly. I have it teamed up with a McKillans short gun and MJJC v.2 foam cannon and I'm happy.
Very nice, it’s the best product they have made so far.
Great review! Love some Cleetus shenanigans as well.
Hell yeah brother!
The foam was Nicee 🔥 another great review brother!
Thx bro
I saw this pressure washer and a review of it but wasn't sure as it seemed like they were marketing it for the company.
Nice to see an honest review and getting good numbers, plus the foam cannon isn't bad for one that comes with it.
I don't have a place to mount this but it is appealing to have a retractable unit.
I also agree, worth getting with the better hose if anything for the better experience.
It costs me more, but I need the tax write off anyways. It’s a great overall package.
Great review! Not a bad P/W at all and an everything included easy-to-mount-to-get-off-the-ground unit. And it's backed with a 2-year full warranty. Very Cool!
Still outside in my back porch working just fine.
Great video. Thank you for such detailed review. I truly appreciate the honest reviews. I’m glad you did not sign any contracts. I never sign contracts either
Because of your review I purchased this product. Thank you 🙏
Lost so many good opportunities by not signing anything. I don’t mind doing it for a sponsored ad or something like that because it’s not a review. Most of these companies want you to make the video look like a review and fake it. Big difference between a commercial and a review.
@@CarsWithKeav agree with you 100%. This is not the first product. I’ve purchased because of your reviews. I truly enjoy your reviews.
This was very helpful! Thank you!
You’re welcome
Great job thx you
You’re Welcome
Very nice review
Thank you!
I need some of that foam.
No better therapy than foam therapy. 🤣
@@CarsWithKeav Hahhah I just talked to Gyeon and I am getting some soap now. I will let you know how it goes.
Great video. Do you know what size the inlet thread is on the machine?
Mine is just normal garden hose thread for the inlet.
Looks nice, but I'd rather have a diy wall setup where if something breaks it can be replaced alone instead of the whole system. Giraffe used to sell a standalone unit with great numbers for only $140
I agree on the wall setup. If you were using this
Mounted outside I see the use case for it or somebody who doesn’t want to be bothered with all the components and wants auto retract.
How do you know which one is the one with the better hose? Are there different model numbers? Thanks for this great review!
Either one of these and they are on sale for $195 right now on Amazon. amzn.to/4a1m9GD or amzn.to/3sKQPLj Only difference is one is Silver and the other day gray.
@@CarsWithKeav thank you!!!
They just released an Upgraded Pro version that comes with 3300 Psi motor for $699
The original PRO was not worth it in my opinion. It didn’t perform anywhere near the price. Maybe they fixed the issues because in that price range there are some exceptional machines.
@CarsWithKeav haven't seen any all in one units like this available, if you know of any please share and thanks for the video
@@Godfather44055 Comet 1700 is all in one, but reel is not retractable comes with 70 foot hose. Did a review on that recently. PSI is always what cleans best it’s a mix of PSI and flow. 3k PSI on an electric is going to be like 1gpm. A gas pressure washer cleans better because it can do 3k PSI with double the amount of water.
I have the previous model with 100ft hose and it doesn't retract properly it's like the carrier is not properly synced with the roller.
Is it the original one with the black hose? Those didn’t track great. You can adjust the slider somehow to get back in line. The newer ones are much better at staying in sync on the retraction.
Sounds like 3.0 is the sweet spot. Is 4.0 any better for final rinse? Or would you stick with 3.0 for that too?
3.0 is my suggestion if looking for more flow for rinsing I would go with a 3.5
Is this better then the bigger version with the 100' hose? I'm looking for something quieter too
I prefer this one over any of them I have tried. The mechanics in the retraction system are much improved.
Nice review! Would you recommend this over a wall setup for someone who doesn't have a wall setup yet?
Chemical guys is better
Depends on your budget really. I myself for washing cars would make my own, but that setup would be around $400 to $500 using Active VE52 or 2.0. This for me is more for cleaning the back porch.
I have never tried the Chemical Guys so I can’t comment completely, but some I know have tested it and and based on their numbers this G20 would be close to 20% higher PSI and flow with the 3.0 nozzle. It’s all opinion though and it’s what you like. The G20’s higher PSI would make it a more all around for the house. IMO here is a video from a reviewer I trust th-cam.com/video/Ej5VrLviIcg/w-d-xo.html
@@esteban5361 they have god awful reviews, what are you talking about?
@@CarsWithKeavdo you know if active had a fix for the early AE 52 models so the hose could be replaced but still work properly?
How does this model compare with the Pressure Washer Plus?
I would say its close to the same except smaller form factor and different way of being mounted. The auto retract on this one seems more refined. The pump and performance numbers are very close as well.
Is there a way to use this but not mount it to the wall? I am renting a house and want one but don’t wanna drill big ol holes in a house that ain’t mine haha
Because of the inlet hose location it would still need to be mounted on a cart or even just a few pieces of wood. You could elbow from the bottom to come out the side. It will be lower than the base so needs to be elevated with the cart or boards. You would then need enough weight or counterbalance to make sure when you pull the hose it doesn’t fall over. It for sure is doable.
Voltage drop doesn’t occur until 200’. 14awg is rated for 15A up to 200’ any further you need to up to 12awg
Correct, problem is most people have 16awg cheap extension cords which isn’t even rated for full 15A.
Could you attach it on detail cart?
For sure just would need to make sure the cart is balanced for the weight and pressure of pull the hose. It being larger and the inlet location would limit the locations you could install it.
Is the hose replaceable on this unit?
It is replaceable from Giraffe. If you want to go with another brand there is some modification that can be done, but its not easy.
This or active 2.0? If they were the same price .
Thanks Keav
If washing cars a good bit Active 2.0 all day. Every once in a while and using for other jobs I think this is a good one. Also depends on your technical ability to do your own upgrade path.
@CarsWithKeav Just got mine yesterday already wall mounted with a uberflex hose crazy the difference in gpm from my old greenworks PW . Just hope it holds up
@@steelersx17 it’s crazy how much better and the foam cannons work so much better. Make sure if you have a foam cannon put a 1.25 or even a 1.35 in there to take some stress off the machine. The 2.0 is rated at twice the durability of a normal residential pressure washer so close to 200 hours.
@CarsWithKeav already switched my mjjc do the 1.25 not trying to pop a breaker lol
Big fan of your videos keav keep doing your thing 👏
Now everyone's reviewing it
I had it for almost a month, but was waiting till it was available on Amazon to release the video. I’m probably the only one that paid for it though. 🤣 They are giving them out like crazy right now to influencers. When they said the word partnership and you need to sign this paper I’m like nope I’ll just buy it myself.
Hey, what are the measurements? I’m concerned it will sit very far off the wall. The website lists sizes, but doesn’t specify what side those measurements belong to
Mounted on the wall. From wall to front 20 inches, width is 14 inches and top to bottom is 17 inches. That’s my best try as there are a lot of curves. Another thing to consider once the inlet hose is on it adds 3 inches to the bottom minimal to make sure you don’t link the hose. If you wan an elbow from the inlet you could save some room for sure there. I will start adding these measurements in future videos.
Ty very much!
@@CarsWithKeav How many inches does it stick out from the wall when it's swiveled all the way to the side? I suspect it may be useful to store it like that (assuming it sticks out less) and then swivel it out straight when you want to use it. Also, how far does the Plus+ stick out from the wall? And which of these would you recommend vs the other (performance seems similar with this one, even if maybe a bit better)?
I think I like my PRO model better, 100ft hose. Although it's hose has been upgraded but it still tends to kink, still too stiff. Well I have no other choice since I already paid $600 for it 😜
I hate mine because it sounds like a whistle firework every time you let go of the trigger. I got that one for free though so can’t complain too much. The ramp up can be a little annoying.
@CarsWithKeav Keav, what if I told you that mine doesn't do it. I also installed one for a friend of mine, and his doesn't do this noise either 🤔😬 and it's strange cuz most of reviews here had exactly the same issue
@@paul9387 You're Welcome. My video got them to fix the whistle issue. I had an early model before they started selling them. I was like who in the world didn't hear this when doing testing.
@CarsWithKeav haha I knew itttt !!! 😎 yea, we can switch ours cuz I mainly bought it to annoy my neighbors lol
nahh rather get a Cryobi unit for 80$ and spend the extra money on a better hose and reel. if anything happens to anything i can swap out. but this fails n you hve to replace everything. probably will fail after 60 hours of use. good oitput though.
I agree on just about everything you said. This is a retail consumer unit for sure. Those not wanting to deal with having to put all that together and won’t be using in any extended timeframe. I have actually used quite a bit to wash my lawnmower off.
Lol its not available 😂
I’m sale right now for $195 on Amazon Cyber Monday. amzn.to/3uAJLl5
Garbage
Everybody can have their opinion and I respect yours, but mine is going strong still mounted on the back porch and does its job great still.
