Hi, I have the Sawgrass 400 and it prints up to 8 1/2 x 14. Just pull the paper tray out and it should have two little colored levers on both sides of the tray, at the top. For years I never knew that until I recently watched Edubb’s Sawgrass You Tube tutorial. I hope this info helps, and thanks for all your informative tutorials.
I did the complimentary hour call with Sawgrass to have them walk me through the set up process. You were correct with the paper settings. If you’re using a paper not listed in the drop down, the you should leave the default TruePic or whatever it is selected. I’ve been running all weekend and only printed for a water bottle, so I’m going to play and press this evening. I love the colors and how fast it prints!

I purchased the SG400 almost three years ago and I still love it; however, I wish I would have gotten the SG800 at the time because it prints larger (I just didn’t know if I was going to love sublimation that much). I have the Epson SC-F570, too, and I tell you it’s amazing as well! Also, if you’re printing a couple of images from different files, the print manager will combine the prints so that they can print on the same paper.

Now this isn’t the unboxing I’m waiting for lol 😜👀 but this was still a very informative video. I looked at the Sawgrass printer, but I ultimately went with a Epson. Glad you loved the SG printer. Always great when something exceeds your expectations 😄
Someone told me that it does have a bypass tray. I think it allows for longer prints. The width might be still be 8.5 with it. I know for certain that there's a bypass tray for the 1000.
I CAN'T with you I was online first thing this morning looking at the sawgrass printers 😲- so I have question I recently purchase the epson 2760 - when the sublimation ink that I have in that printer runs out can i use that printer as a regular home/office printer and use the ink that can with printer
😂😂😂 You definitely can use it as a regular printer again! I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like the Sawgrass. I'm sure that I'll like it more as I continue to use it. The only thing that I might not like is the cost of the ink.
@@CraftableThings I have one, the ink actually lasts a long while and I use mine often with my Small business. I went 4 months before I had to change any ink. But since you got the starter bundle the ink is just a sample size and not a full cartridge.

Glad to know that I am not the only one who has trouble using Creative Studios. Replacement ink is way too expensive for me. That's why I switched to an Epson printer. It is a nice printer though.
Hi Patricia!!! Thanks for watching! I am definitely not planning to use Creative Studio. I will try to learn the basic version eventually. I honestly just found a free image to print. Yes, the ink is ridiculously priced and that was and is the reason that Epson's are my preferred sub printers.
@@CraftableThings It’s worth it, because you can get 400 print's of 8.5x11 from one set of inks. You can't get that from the converted printer's. I've asked, allot of people, including #THESQUAD
They may pop more than most Epson printers because most Epson printers that were not designed for sublimation may not have the best results. However Epson’s SureColor F170 Supertank printer will not have that issue and is far cheaper to run when considering replacement ink.

Yes! I love it & you don't have to worry about adjusting any print settings.

Those colors definitely pop more than the Epson printers. I guess all the Sawgrass printers will be out of stock now. 🤣
