I just wanted to acknowledge how crazy it is that when I am reading these specific chapters of Luke, I am also by chance watching episodes of The Chosen that align with the exact scenarios in these chapters of Luke! It is of no use to be closer to god by praying or fasting if he is already there. It is of no use to pour new wine into old wineskins because it will make you loose the wine and the wineskins. You appreciate old wine and use it and when the new one is there you honor him with new wineskins. Appreciate what is there when it is and dont get lost in what your use to do but go back to it in due time because it is still good. This is how I understand it hope it helps !
