This is similar in appearance and function to the Tudor Black Bay Pro. The titanium construction should make it more comfortable though, and of course the movement is different. Thanks Brad for showing us these impressive watches. 😀
Yes, the 285 is more gray than white. It's similar to the Taisetsu Seasons SBGA415, except different dial texture. Like the GMT better than the 415 -- a little more legible, and the Evolution 9 Ti case is great.
Just a thought, but despite the black dial, fixed brushed bezel and crown guards, I've never seen any suggestion that these watches are an homage to the Rolex Explorer 11, yet the Black Bay Pro seems to attract the comparison. They are all fine watches and for me they stand on their merit.
I love that 'white' dialed version and it would be near perfect if only GS/Seiko would use a toolless micro-adj clasp on that bracelet. Make the GS logo a push-button style like my Glashutte Original SeaQ or the way IWC is incorporating it on several of their bracelets.
Hi, appreciate your video and opinion, does this watch have the same dial as the SBGE275G, Some of the pictures I have seen they look a beautiful white. I am personally trying to save for either one. I find them both gorgeous, plus I am tired of begging for a Rolex at retail. I own two Seiko on the lower price scales and they are well made so I believe the Grand seiko line must be top notch. I have the SKX009 and the SUN029 Arnie, both great time pieces. And for those reading I own a 2016 Rolex Batman 40mm, 2022 Submariner aka Bluesy 41mm, 2020 Tudor BB GMT 41mm, MIDO , Brietling, Tag Heuer . So I speak from small experences . It's just hard to spend the big money when the Seiko brand makes such great time pieces and at reasonable prices for the everyday person. My opinion and again thanks for yours.
Thanks for viewing. The dial on this one is definitely more "grey" than the one on the SBGE275. Both look great and I personally feel this one better compliments the Ti case coloring, but I could see how others may feel it's too monochromatic. You can't go wrong with either!
@@brentmillertime8778 Again thanks for your opinion I may wait for them to fall into the used market and see if there is a deal to be had. GS brand usually softens then. My opinion, ok all the best
Great video. Been waiting for something like this for a while. Great looking watch

The moment that GS can get these down to 12.5mm thickness, I'm buying 10 of these.
These both look great!

A Snowflake dial GMT is mighty tempting.

I love this but again too thick for me and too wide on the bracelet. So close.

That looks great. Could you let us know your wrist size?
6.75"
@@brentmillertime8778 Thank you!
I'll take the sbge283!

Please make a video about SLGA015
As soon as we have one in stock!
The GMT hands being an hour different is disconcerting. But only 'cos it's one hour, a few hours would be fine...
The case has a touch of omega speedmaster about it.
Too thick. Same shit clasp with no micro. Love the dial. But too many other issues.
Thick is personal preference as is taper. Many more expensive watches have no micro adjustment. Relax.
