@@jimmineweaser3300 still my go to interface for recording audio. Every video I shoot and every song I record I use the Apollo. I do have other interfaces I use for streaming because I use a PC without thunderbolt 3 as the computer i use to make music on stream.

I sold my Apollo Twin X because I couldn't bypass the preamps. They want me to pay $1200 for an interface that can't bypass the preamps and plus the converters are subpar. I switched from Apollo to RME for these two reasons.

Not yet. 😆 Thats an issue with the mac overheating because of obs/streamlabs and the elgato 4k cam link. I switched to obs from streamlabs and changed some settings. We'll find out tonight after the game if it helps.

I can't necessarily tell you what's best for you. The apollo twin x was best for me because I record my own vocals and it allowed me access to different preamps plus ua plugins. I absolutely love the interface.
hi guys! i have bought a used apollo twin × thunderbolt, i can't understand how i can active talkback mode. in monitor mode the led does not light up. (i wait the order with a thunderbolt 2 and adapter to connect the apollo, maybe i have to connect it to my macbook? I reset the apollo and the LEDs all light up, anyone can help me?? tnx
WINDOWS USERS!! if ur motherboard does not have a thunderbolt port, YOU HAVE TO GET A THUNDERBOLT 3.0 CARD!!! most macs have it onboard already, but you will have to buy this card if you are on PC. hopefully i save hours of someone's time with this comment.
They do buuuuttt i had a bunch of issues with my order. Fed ex damaged the package and sent it back to sweetwater. Sweetwater then sent the replacement unit but forgot the chord then shipped the new cord to my old address. It was definitely a headache.

the rode nt1 is backwards make sure the gold circle is facing you that's where the capsule is at nice video btw
Its not backwards. It was a manufacturer defect and was built backwards. Thats why the audio is clear vs muffled.
