For 110 years the club has been based in the park. That central city legacy continues despite 95% of the members now living out of inner-city Auckland. The club survives by its values of loyalty, family and service.
STILL HERE is a love letter to our inner-city Auckland Pasifika community. Since the 1950s, the Pasifika community has cultivated a unique Central Auckland identity that many of the community’s youth proudly embrace; both as an act of resistance from ongoing gentrification and as an unapologetic reminder that they and their families are Still Here.

Mean video whanau. I used to make the journey from Mangere East in the 80s and 90s and Richmond was our second home cause of our Niuean whanau scattered amongst the Senior B sides, Rovers, Bulldogs and Toke! My dad and uncles played hard against Richmond and then rocked up amongst the boys in the clubhouse for few before heading back to Mangere! God Bless Richmond Rovers!

So many memories living in Grey Lynn in the 70s my two sons played for Richmond the youngest played alongside Paul Ah Kuoi in the U8s/U9s the eldest in the U12s/U13s coached by Ken Campbell I had a 72 Ford Falcon Ute and would often load the back up with kids to take to their away games I also played touch at the Richmond touch tourney for the power board and John Kirwin also played in the tourney he was a marked man 😂 great memories ❤

My brother Jack was in the Tokelauan team at Richmond. Such a great vibe back then. I moved out in 85' i loved the foundation it stemmed from
