    I sent you an inquiry to assist me and my husband finalizing a dual citizenship. Also left a VIBER message. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you for your detailed summary about dual citizenship. However, some of my friends from the USA areI interested to learn more about the steps to apply for residency. More specific for opening a business. What documents are needed to bring to Serbia?
    Cheers.
    Is there a specific list, it will be helpful to visitors who want to stay in Serbia.

    how about buying or investing a property in Serbia can lead to citizenship? do you have a video about permanent residency in Serbia? I'm a filipino from the Philippines 🇵🇭.

      Hi, property investment as a ground for residency can lead to citizenship.
      Here's the video on permanent residency: th-cam.com/video/2QFQNkte-Cs/w-d-xo.html

    I have a related question. I'm a Canadian searching for an alternative passport. I like the fact that Serbia is outside the EU yet still in Europe. I work remotely and would gladly spend the three years in Serbia and even seriously consider trading in my Canadian citizenship. Question is, once Serbian citizenship is attained, will I then be able to pursue a second citizenship/passport?

      Hi, thank you for your comment. The "tricky part" is related to the application process. Once you obtain Serbian citizenship, there are no limitations from the Serbian end. Happy to welcome you to Serbia!

    So basically an American citizen, can never obtain Serbian passport without renouncing US passport, unless he gets married to a Serbian citizen. Hmm. Thanks for clarifying since there is so much misinformation out there on TH-cam and elsewhere. 🙏

    • @lawfirmseperac
      @lawfirmseperac  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In theory, an American could prove that it is not "reasonably expected" from him to renounce his US citizenship. But he would need very good arguments, lots of patience and be prepared for back and forth communication with the administration.

    How about a UK citizen thinking about buying a house and moving to Serbia? Not everyone is American!

      UK citizens are absolutely welcome! We have reciprocity with the UK, so buying a house is a possibility. Good luck!
