    8:11 I don't think you have your z_positions set correctly. This is the location of the z steppers relative to the nozzle, so they should be outside of the points you described for "points". The way you have it configured klipper thinks that your bltouch is probing directly on top of the leadscrew. This is probably why it takes you so many retries

    • @GoldenJaguar3D
      @GoldenJaguar3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for in the info, this as been address a while now, in the comments below what also played a factor too was my bltouch micron accuracy and too high retry tolerance.

    Hello my friend, is there a way to add this to my start GCODE in SuperSlicer? It would be really nice if I could have my printer do this before probing on each print, but I don't know how to add it! Thanks for the video, very helpful!
    EDIT:
    Hopefully you see this comment, I'm pretty sure you have your z_position X coordinates misconfigured. I was following your video along with the documentation and it didn't seem to jive, the docs describe z_position as being the nozzle coordinates IF the nozzle could move directly above the point. Klipper doesn't actually use the z_position coordinates to probe (that's what points is for), to me it reads as if they describe where the leadscrew/stepper connect AKA the pivot point on each side. I jumped on the Klipper Discord to check and they confirmed my suspicions, I'll post my Ender 3 config below (235x235mm bed) so you can see what they should look like. Points should be two (or more apparently) positions along that midline on each side that the probe, these do need to be legitimately on-bed coordinates that can be safely reached by the probe.

    You probably should do a PROBE_ACCURACY test first to find out how accurate your probe is. If you set your tolerance to a value lower than your probe's accuracy, it may never level out.

      Yes you’re correct, however luckily it’s doesn’t take more 3-5 tries to get that accuracy

    Your Z_positions are wrong. They need to be the location of your lead screws using nozzle coordinates then you will not need so many retries.

    • @GoldenJaguar3D
      @GoldenJaguar3D  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's not the issue, the issue is my tolerance is very high, so it will take more retries to match. I've done this way too many time bud!
