In my opinion, I found all of EA’s mobile games to be boring except for when I was younger
yeah they get boring quickly, i enjoyed sims mobile for a couple weeks and then never touched it again
I agree. Terrible graphics, as well.
i thought they were terrible even when i was younger, to me personally it just wasnt as fun as playing on pc
LIfe and Death is my last pack for TS4 as I see it as a kind of closure for the life of a sim.
They are going to keep piling on until the game breaks and then they are going to start telling you that you have to uninstall some packs like they did with TS3.
I want the game to end so I can mod it in peace, but they seem to not want that to happen.
Growing Together was my last purchase but I was waiting for Life by You and now that is not happening Paralives I'm done with EA empty shallow packs the romance pack was a complete joke.
@lance9249 Lovestruck was really fun. I think if guys play the sims they’ve got to expect not to like every pack, most of them are made with girls in mind.
To me this feels like the sims team is just digging for money at this point. The game is still broken, and there are many bugs they can work on to make the game more playable. The quality of the game does not look that good, and I know it is early on, but it doesn’t look that fun.
That's what the entire Sims franchise is about.
I’d love a remake of Castaway or Medieval. I don’t care for mobile games or multiplayer Sims.

I feel like another mobile game is such a waste of time and resources. like there seems to be a complete disregard for the existing sims players in EA's constant effort to pull in an entirely different crowd, and they're losing the community thats been built over the past 20 years
Omg you’re so right a stories type of game would be perfect, I even loved sims 3’s medieval, like pls give us lore and something interesting but not a lame mobile app 😫

This is not they way i want to play a mobile game. They make you wait 2 real hours for a night to get to the next days work... bet they will let you speed past for money. Nope not for me
REAL currency of course. Nope not doing it. At least for that game, or anything else EA wants to try to con us out of paying for. I'm done with them.
I'm not opposed to story-based games. If they want to branch off, they could make side games like the Strangerville pack with super unique themes, stories and settings...they could even recycle the assets for kits for the main game if they want to be greedy. They could release them on console and pc. These mobile games aren't it, I'm not interested at all in their "quests" to make wishes at a fountain 😩

They did that years ago with the Sims 2. The game played exactly like the Sims 2, but you followed a storyline. They could still keep everything the same and wouldn't have create a new game at all. Just make it quest based. That's what I thought they were going to do at first, but nope.
We were told windows 10 would be the last one, then what happened? To be perfectly honest, regardless what we are being told i highly doubt they will stay this course indefinitely. Eventually, they'll default back to the tried and true method of starting from base then bloating with packs, as it's a business model that's been highly successful for them
how long it would take for them to fall back though... who knows
They’ve gotten VERY money hungry in the recent years I want them to stop adding dlcs and just fix the game
I don't know how much sense it makes to start working on a new game instead of fixing the mistakes of The Sims 4. The Sim 4 appears to be an unfinished beta game.

Right I think that too. I have invested money in my game I'm not ready to switch. Personally I think the sims 4 are getting a bit better lately but yes like you said we need a better and smoother version.
personally I disagree, I think it would be better to start from 0 with the sims 5, the sims 4 is just bad, boring, regardless of how many expansions you have, I always download it, I play for like 3 hours, and I get tired of the game because there's nothing interesting to do, starting from 0 with the sims 5 would at least have the chance to be more fun, be something new, new mechanics, or, end up being a the sims 4 2.0
also, it's been 10 years, I'm already sick of the look of the sims 4 too
I don't want a loading screen just to go next door. The Sims 3 had it right with the open world. Sure, it ran poorly, but at least it was trying to be innovative. They haven't done that in a while. Now, it's like a dumbed-down version of The Sims 2 with better graphics. That's what it is

I don’t understand why they put time in energy into creating something new instead of fixing the existing game we all already enjoy playing and would enjoy more if they just fixed things properly and worked on creating packs that we would actually get a lot of use out of. Like an actual medieval pack& world. I know they have a whole actual sims medieval thing but that should really just be merged with sims 4. I have so many mods and cc to make my game actually medieval but it would be a lot nicer to have a huge world dedicated to that (cue the time travel LP’s lol)
The only answer I have for this is it's because they can't sell a game update 😅 we already bought the game, they don't have incentive to keep it working more than just enough to sell more packs
I think they started developing The Sims 5 then they sae Inzoi and Paralives and thought we can’t compete with them let’s change what the sims is.

I don't care because I wouldn't be interested in playing a mobile game anyway. It seems like it's for kids. But people love to pay real money for dumb game features. I remember people paying $5 a pop for items in Farmville that were just slightly different from items already in the game for free. It drove me crazy...so dumb. I never spent a penny on that game.

I can see how ppl can think it is starting over if they made a sims 5. I played sims 3 for a while after 4 came out bc it didn’t have toddlers, no pools( I think) or hot tubs and other things like pets. I finally came on board and I felt it still took along time to get more fun game play. I still miss horses and driving cars around town. I love playing the sims but sims 4 started like a better graphic but basic like sims 1. I feel they need to get the bugs fixed and make sure the expansion are actually ready before release.
The issue is that they are not making a sims 5 and seem to not have any plans to fix the sims 4. The sims needs a refresh.
@Eli-jw8mx They just hired a brand new team with the aim of fixing the sims 4 and we’ve already had more fixes this year than the last two years combined. You not liking the game doesn’t mean they aren’t trying to fix the bugs.
@@jaybee4288 there are core issues with the game one being loading screens. The sims 4 isn’t as immersive compared to it’s predecessor. It’s crazy that the sims 4 events have never once worked and the sims that were advertised as smarter are the dumbest in the franchise. I think the bug fixes are great but we do have a to remember they are fixing things that have been broken for years and were released in that state.

They need to pull in younger players such as my grand daughter who's only 6 and wants so badly to play nana's game. I'm not their target market for this specific product is the way I see it.

The weird thing is, the touch controls for Sims FreePlay controls are amazing and so easy to use, I don’t know if phones are advanced enough to run Sims 4 but if they did something similar to the mainline series but free to play base game, regular updates, paid expansions (Sims 4 basically) with Freeplays touch controls, I’d be all over it. We don’t want another Kim Kardashian: Hollywood
This is so unnecessary I just want the sims 4 to stop getting pack updates so I can mod and play in peace by fixing the game myself because they won’t 😭
To be honest I can't wait for Paralives to come out next year. Then Sims will finally have competition, so they are going to HAVE to step their shit up!

I would never play this…ever. Now as far as Sims 4 goes. They’re going to have to stop adding stuff to the game. It’s going to become way too bloated. We need a completely new IP not this garbage they’re peddling.
This game is in early access for certain countries. For example in Australia, anyone can download and play it. However, it is full of bugs hence early access. I'm already stuck in the story from a game bug so I can't progress any further
I am more a Sims 3 player and now sims 4 , I have nothing with this, but there much games like this so there going with time, if it’s good? I don’t know, time will tell😊

Yeah. Same here. I was ALSO HOPEING for Sims 5. But EA went and cancelled that thought/idea. That's too bad. It would of been interesting to see a Sims 5 and HOW that would have looked and played. Disapointed in EA for that one. As for Project Rene. NO thank You! Heard it was going to have microtransactions and other stuff no of us either cares about or WANTS because it would NOT be Sims. Sims does NOT have things like battle passes and subcrriptions and mircotransactions. Thats NOT SIM. NOT the sims franchise most of us who play know anyhow. So again, NOT interested. NO thanks.
Also, NOT to sure what this sims town stories is but I am guessing it too will have microtransactions in it. Much like project Rene. Saw a BIT of it and tbh I did NOT like what I saw. I know it's still in the developing stage. But it just did NOT look like something I'd play.
Tbh, I WILL just KEEP playing with Sims 4 while I WAIT for InZoi to hopefully be out after early access.

Clearly The Sims 4 audience doesn't care about those mobile games where you have to wait 2 hours for your Sim to finish eating something and gain XP. But I don't know how well those games perform for the general mobile audience, so...
We're not giving you the Sims 5 because we don't want you to have to over to a new game and start from scratch. Also, we're ditching Sims Mobile, you'll need to get used to a brand new game. Sure EA.
I think people are confused as to what project Rene is. I think it’s one thing they’re working on, but they’re also making mobile games, and people are getting confused. Sims have made mobile and spin off games for a long time so this isn’t anything new or won’t stop project Rene, will be a different team.
not confused at all, Project Rene is going to be for both PC and mobile, you’re going to basically be able to play anywhere. people aren’t worried about this mobile game taking up time that should be going towards project rene, most people don’t want project rene either. it’s more so the fact that a lot of people are disappointed in what they’re choosing to focus on and put their time in now a days, project rene isn’t what a lot of people hoped and it’s not the sims 5. i think spin off games are great, i talked about that but the direction of spin off games they’re choose isn’t what a lot of people want.

Keep the Sims 4 going FINE I guess but ANYTHING is BETTER than What paths EA is takeing now with Project Rene and this Sims town mobile game or what ever. That said, it is STILL going to take SOME TIME to FIX the Sims 4 still. But as I said before, I would RATHER PLAY the Sims 4 because at leaste I won't be dealing with microtransactions or ANY other of this stuff I don't want in MY game. So YES, I keep playing Sims 4 while I am WAITING to see if hopefully InZoi will be out

They need to make a sims 5 base game free… with a damn good base game. Pets, seasons, open neighborhoods if not open worlds. People would get that. Then bring out eps. IMO that would be best. Make it so people can download cc in the game. Like a gallery for cc.

it’s been in the making for quite some time now and it’s playable enough for playtesters to try it out. i had someone in my comments say they got to play test it and were bored in 5 minutes
