Definitely a *Solid* figure. While none of these are my favs, I gotta admit this is probably the strongest Lightning Wave in a long while. Solid face portraits. No reissues. Good distribution breakdown. Fair character selection. 👍 QC on point.
Really hope this is a start for more season 3/ninjeti/alien rangers figures.
They are inevitable.
I have 2 pre ordered in the hopes that we will get an Ivan Ooze for them to flank until then I will have them guarding their nest.

I think the packaging art might have been an homage to the original Tenga warrior toy because they had that coloration. This figure looks really damn good!
I can’t believe how good these look super excited about this wave i really want to see Carlos so i can’t wait for that review. I thought i only wanted 3 but if they release movie figures, Ivan ooze and ninjetti i know I’m going to want way more
You probably already know this by now but the Lightning effect is made to go onto the egg to look like it's hatching the Tenga Warriors and energy is running through the egg.
It's like a character from Hindu mythology called Garuda 🙏😎

This figure is much cooler than the Z Putty’s one. Can’t wait!
The scale here is nice. Bigger, but not crazy huge. Pumpkin Rapper is a good size because of the head, but King Sphinx is just stupid big and has no paint.
Sadly, the only reason the figure had so much done for it is because it is an army builder and people will buy multiples. Heck, I got 7.

@@Knightfall182 honestly, just King Sphinx for me. I did a custom paint job on one though and it looks far better with paint. Still way too huge.
I am hoping the ultimates Super7 Goldar is of similar size and sculpted detail. Maybe I can pair the two and find a megazord in scale.

A little black wash over the hands and feet and I reckon it'll look even better.

it looks like that in the movie.
I didn't think the final figure would retain the paint detailing, but glad it did. I'm ok with the legs not being able straighten as they were always hunched down anyway.
This Tenga figure is wonderful, and definitely the start of some really nice Lightning Collection stuff that makes you wonder how it came out of Hasbro when much of their other products are so meh by comparison.
I was more than happy when I went to my local Target and found that they had wave 9 on hand. Since they had two cases on the shelf, I was lucky to pick up two Tengas since I have a display idea with my Goldar figure in mind. I must say that the Tenga itself has a fair bit of weight to it since it's a bulky figure. It reminds me of how heavy Goldar felt when I found him at Gamestop when he was on sale.
awesome review, finally opened it..usually watch a review before I open a figure, as I don't return opened products, but he's gonna stay on my shelf..my only gripe, is I just got one..

I dont collect power rangers but this figure looked like a solid sculpture. Heavy too. Might go well with my mythic legions and motuc.
When I got Adam and put him with my other Zeo figures, I saw the package is different but it’s super subtle. I’m a designer so I pay attention to scale lol. Line up the Zeo boxes and you’ll see

Artwork wise
If I had to guess it was probably a bit more for the presentation. They wanted the face to stand out and make the box pop.
Other it would be all purple,grey, and black.
Figure wise, even more so I don't what Hasbro was thinking making an 8 inch monster line. This figure along with Goldar are more then big enough.
In the end the monsters were people in suits. Almost none of them towered over the rangers by being like 2 to 3 times as large and standing 8-10 ft tall.
Still on the fence about if I will get this guy. Probably going to be an in person thing.
That lighting effect looks like the same effect from Marvel Legends Storm :D

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are still licensing issues with the movie studio. But at the same time I really feel like this is more a movie figure than show figure so who knows.
@@MCUcollector24 didn't stop Bandai from using movie branding for the Legacy Ninja Megazord, Falconzord, and the Legacy movie figures.
Maybe Bandai had a deal with the studio and Hasbro doesn’t. I think we will see movie stuff down the road regardless.
Tenga Warriors are a pre tool for the TMNT figures I reckon.
Why is it that a figure like this gets butterfly joints but the Marvel legends characters do not get them very often. I'm not trying to hate on Power Rangers I just think Marvel legends deserves this
