i LOVE that one can find really old parts for their old Mercs from Mercedes themselves. im a VW addict, and even though my cars arent that old, (25-45 years old) it's getting hard to find those every-day bits to keep things tight and solid.
This series was so awesome to watch, i was so enthusiastic when i watched it, I was so excited when i heard how fluently Alex speaks german. That was top notch series, so guys good job and keep it u the good work :)

classic rally is all about perfection and planning. it's great for older cars that arent 700hp with all the gadgets that make modern rally cars literal rocketships shooting flames. an absolutely incredible experience, and considering the field, coming in above 33% of the field, first time out, that's a job well done! that old 280S did a great job, the build was excellent, he looked awesome! good driving from an almost-racing-driver, and Karl-Heinz was top shelf as the navigator AND mechanic! i do hope that this was one of his most memorable experiences as a Mercedes tech, because i know it would be one of mine! well done lads
I've had a few of the old upright headlamp cars of various models and loved every single one of them, currently drive a W210 E55 estate car, totally different experience but still bags of character and very "Mercedes". Classic rallies beyond my budget but always awesome to watch the smiles and the scenery in vidoes.
Really loved this video series, truly made me consider an W108 instead of a W124ce that I'm looking for, form my Rally project, awesome videos guys, congrats.

Being German and speaking fluent English I didn't need subtitles, *except* for Karl-Heinz' strong dialect. Great series, toroughly enjoyed it!
