Mahalo Andy!! Great Story of THE LEGENDARY EDDIE!!! Blessed are the Peacemakers like Eddie and who can forget the LEGENDARY HAWAIIAN musician IZ!!! MANY of my favorite Hawaiians are KING KAMEHAMEHA, THE MERRY MONARCH , the LEGENDARY IZ, and you Braddah Andy!! Aloha and Mahalo!!
Aloha Andy, I look forward to watching you every morning with my cuppa Kona coffee. Thank u for your teachings. I am a native Californian trapped in a Hawaiian body and soul. I transplanted 4 years ago to big island. The first time I landed here I got emotional and felt the home. I live in an old Hawaiian neighborhood and strive to learn more and more about .... My people. Mahalo for all the good listen. Greatly appreciated. Wahinesister
Mahalo Brudda Andy for bringing this local boy back home with your videos........been gone from Hawaii for about 8 years now and when people ask if I will ever go back, I tell them "I don't know....too much Ex-In-Laws live there.".... they all laugh.....so Mahalo again Andy....keep it up and Have a good one....
This is one of my favorite episodes. Thank you for enlightening us about Eddie Aikau's legacy. Congratulations on 50 shows. Looking forward to your next milestone.
That's the trip the Micronesian didn't go on because on the first trip to Tahiti he witness the drama between the crew so on the second trip he decided not to go and it capsized. Navigation is like a society within itself... Without togetherness and teamwork a canoe's journey won't be successful. Eddie is a Legend tho!!
Great stuff uncle. ESPN did a documentary it's called 30 for 30 Hawaiian: The Legend of Eddie Aikau". I find myself watching this episode once a month. Can never get tired of hearing/watching Eddies' story. Like you, whenever there's uncertainty bout doing something...I always say "Eddie would go." Mahalo for sharing
Andy, you bring tears to my eyes. This is an excellent snapshot of both the saying, and the man. Eddie Aikau was one of the MOST important Hawaiians in the 20th century. ESPN did an amazing job of telling Eddie's story in their "30 for 30" series. Mahalo, mahalo, mahalo bruddah Andy...
Happy 50th Show, Andy, I watch everyday and if I miss, I look it up in the archives! I get Sweet sighs and misty eyes in watching this episode ... Thank You for sharing about "Eddie Would Go," We All need a dose of that good inspiration ~
Thanks Andy for your postings. I just found you clips and have subscribed. Fantastic. I'm one of those mad aussies but not mad enough to know that we are the best at surfing! Love all the stories and looking forward to learning more. Mahalo, Peter

Great reminder of the recent past of a great Hawaiian man in Eddie Aikau. I remember surfing on the north shore during this period and it was very tense for all visitors and locals. Thank God for Eddie Aikau's sense of "making right" and God bless you for reminding all why Eddie Would Go.
Beautiful, emotional sentiment. I'm glad that you mentioned ho'oponopono. As I go through your backlog I hope I see more. Very powerful, just what the world needs. As always, you prove to be the master. Thank you. We are lucky to have you. All the best regards to you 🙏 aloha
A monumental moment in surfing history. Check out "Bustin' Down The Door," a film that explores how the Australians came to Hawaii and aimed to dominate. Without Eddie's intervention, surfing would have been the lesser.
Andy, you sure have a cool way of telling a tale. Thanks so much for this video; so much more than I could get from reading some Wikipedia page, I truly understand Eddie Would Go now. ✌Mahalo, Andy.
