I’ve never used any of the food delivery services because I long suspected this kind of activity. It’s bad enough I have to worry about the people that are making my food in restaurants. I mostly cook at home, but I tend to favor places where I can see into the kitchen these days. I want to know what the people look like and what the hell they’re doing with my food. I’ve walked into places a look at the staff and walked right out on several occasions.

OMG, you might be my twin. When I go get fast food I don’t like the drive thru, I go inside to order so I can see if they are wearing gloves, got on hair nets, if they are scratching their ass or digging in their nose. I like to see them prepping it,cooking it, bagging it. This is why I prefer places you can watch them cook, Peiwei is one of my favorites and places with the same cooking style…..
Same. I literally just ordered from instacart and was so nervous and paranoid. I usually go get my own everything. It’s just not for me maybe I have to give it more tries or something but I’m not ordering no cooked food for somebody else to have to then bring it to me oh no!!

I hated it because I like to see and pick my own stuff and certain things I don’t want the brand substituted. I would rather get the grocery than the fast food delivered anyday……
The hassle I had to go through to get a refund from Walmart was ridiculous. Food was delivered to wrong address, at the time I lived in a Duplex instructions literally said "Duplex on the right when facing the home" it was clearly delivered to the left but a completely different home we drove all around our area and nothing. Over $250 worth of groceries but we had to go out of town so I was trying to make sure my dad and kids were good and my dad didn't have to go to the store since he is elderly.

Maybe, but it’s been my experience that most of you do this and cherry pick based on tips. The sad thing is skeptical consumers like myself never tip in the app, because we prefer to tip cash. One so that the driver gets 100% of the tip and two because we want our order in hand before any gratuity. Lastly, people that order pay a service fee, a delivery fee, an upgraded pricing scale for items that are less in store, and for some apps a convenience fee. This is all on top of the order total. To tip gratuity is an earned action and not a required one. Most drivers just expect it after poorly handling your order and not following delivery instructions as provided. If you don’t find delight in delivering don’t do it!

Y’all are talking as people who dream of being on the today show, she don’t have to settle for that. She already promoted her movie in the first hour, she was doing them a favor by helping the second! That would have mean she’s been their for several hours, could’ve had a kids, her team, and whoever else jammed in a small room? She didn’t argue, she didn’t cause a scene, she left!! They should have more than a few adequate dressing rooms. However, I would not have left. The concern (with food delivery drivers) is real! However, the "easy" fix, is basically what Al mentioned. Make the food restaurant, McDonald's, 5 Guy's, Olive Garden or whoever... SEAL the delivery bag with a sticker... and there's no way that a trifling delivery driver can break that seal to get at "the fries" or whatever, because the driver doesn't have a new "restaurant stamp seal" to cover their theft with a new stamp seal! I don't know... (I'm probably overthinking this whole situation lol) but at the end of the day... home-cook your own food like TS Madison said, I guess! 😂

There’s a test they give in the Military that is 98% correct that gives all the characteristics of the soldiers. Why aren’t they giving this tests to officers.

When I worked in food service, our delivery drivers worked for US! We couldn't imagine handing over a customer's food to some rando we never seen before. Have you been in a place and seen some of these picking up delivery orders? Nowadays I either cook at home or will go pick it up myself.
