Al, Russell is baby future dad period. He's been in his life since he was 6 months old, Ciara has fully custody and Future hasn't seen baby future since he was 5 years old, baby future turn 9 this year. Tell Future to step up and stop being dead beat. Baby Future literally calls Russell dad.

Shaq said it best. “Phil is my Father because my biological didn’t bother!” Shaq made an entire song paying homage to his stepdad because he was there. Future is well known deadbeat Dad according to his multiple baby mamas. Future is disrespecting himself by not being there for any of his kids.
Future doesn’t care one bit that Russell is raising Jr. He doesn’t parent his other kids more than minimally. Jr would also be neglected. Sr’s commitment to being an absentee parent is less damaging to Jr. if Sr. remains consistent about that position while Russell is constant. Jr. will know to have no expectations and can’t have his hopes dashed repeatedly when Sr. breaks promises. If Future doesn’t want to parent, forcing him can only hurt Jr. At this point, just gone for good.
I hope Jr. has a fantastic life either way.
