I’ve read a lot of people complain about this trolling motor in the reviews about this boat. Like you said in your other video about the boat. It’s just enough, and that’s what keeps the price affordable for a bout like this and that is the reason this boat exists. It give you enough maybe a little more then what one needs to get out on the water and have a good time. Thank you Bass Tracker!
Great video. Watch videos on these other insanely complex, upscale trolling motors and you'll appreciate the simplicity. If you are a casual weekender, this is a fantastic motor. If you fish tournaments in running rivers then maybe not.
Please help I have a 9 foot x42 inch wide plastic boat it is a bass tracker canton 2 two man boat I won’t to put a minnkota 45 bow mount trolling motor on it I can mount it with toggle bolts because I can’t reach the washers or nuts can it be done and explain what would happen
Bro I dunno how to help. Best thing to do would be to join a Facebook group about trolling motors. Ask those people. That’s what I do with some fishing related stuff.
You what I appreciate every body’s opinion and I value that Because I need it I am ditching the foot control system on the front I have been given a 50 lb thrust minkota for free I have been researching the 4 stroke engine under 500 I won’t one but I don’t what brand that is going to be reliable I just watched a video on the camping potatoes videos and he has one I couldn’t make out what brand it was but man it sounds nice he is the one that inspired me I love all his stuff
When you set it to turn on instantly with your foot for temporary on is the speed max or is the speed based on what the setting is during constant mode. Hope this makes sense. My current old Motor Guide is always max speed when I click it on intermittent mode.

Agreed
It would have been nice for you to show how to release the latch and the issue. I can’t even get it released to lift up and put in the water.

You set the speed with the knob, you do not go max every time.
I just purchased and installed the Edge, I was wanting to see lower and pull up of the motor also using the foot control?
What battery setup are you running and how long does it last?
What shaft length is this?
How dose it do in higher wind
It works in high wind, but not overpowering. Have to make sure the prop area is clear of weeds.
