Now that the game is probably done with major updates then it might be a good idea to update these guides
The first scene made me think of how Kick Ass it would be if Only the 6 legendary lords had to hold off the bridge against a Massive Chaos force. Just like Naki, Krok-Gar, Gor-Rok, some of if not the strongest fighters the Lizardmen have just holding the line and giving Mazdamundi and Tahenuin time to cast devastating spells while Tik-Tak-To provides air support. It would be a slaughter for Chaos.
Edit: I forgot Lord Kroak who would just end the fight with only 1 cast.
The whole thing could just be holding off while Kroak casts a giant storm/meteor style spell - you win if you survive to get him to cast it.

I wish they'd included Chakax and Oxyotl as heroes, too.
Yeah. As you edited, if mazdumundi was there, it would only take one spell... Maaaaybe Gor-Rok might be needed to hold hold the line if Mazdumundi is feeling sluggish.

Thank you for these guides you do. Especially with a campaign focus. Due to learning disabilities I can struggle to pick things up on my own but your guides have really helped me improve at this game.

I love lizardmen their dinosaurs are cool their lords are the coolest in the game(my opinion) and they are the best when it comes to territorial defence

Ive never understood why people go red line first. I always make my lords either spellcasters or melee specialists first. Guess I just prefer to have super powerful individual units.
Both are fine - the bonuses to your whole army from the red line can be more massive than upgrading just the lord, but it can also be a lot of fun to just send one in and watch them tear through an enemy single handedly
Ignore lighting strike at your peril!

Although flying options do exist and you can fit it to your playstyle it is better off ignoring them and go for big dinos. Your perspective is interesting however and I couldn't agree more on their lords/heros being weak without a proper mount.
It’s kinda ironic that the liazardmen have the lore of beasts, magic from a chaos worshipping faction and they can summon a manticore a chaos beast
I found out that if you rush the Horned one's Riders the T3 unit's for Krog Gar - you can pretty much whipe everything from existence in the southern part. Good for early mid game.
Question: why would you level a slann mage priest along red before you upgrade their spells, which are their entire purpose?

Great vid! Love me some lizards. Personally I go for spells first as mazdamundi bc I love me some mf magic and I don’t play on higher difficulty

Lore question:
Why does Mazdamundi have a diplomatic penalty with most other races and their factions? Cause from what I understand, the Slaan are the oldest living foes of Chaos, and even had a heart exploding time stopping the literal rat bastards of the dark gods.
I'm asking as someone who's not played these games, either tabletop or TW, and has only got into the storylines through videos and wikis.
Addendum: With his Harmonic Convergence ability, and starting with Temple Guards and Kroxigors, I bet his forces can mulch enemy units.

Hey great content! I know this comment is late, but what are your thoughts on difficulties on campaign? I've been reading that easy is considered hard due to scaling, and hard is considered easy.
I normally pick up strategic games fairly fast, but i just got gang banged really hard on the Mazamundi campaign on easy and am confused by how challenging an easy difficulty campaign is.

its super useful yeah but I feel like its a bit cheesey/ uneccessary if you just overpower someone
I found it odd he ignored that as well. Personally I find it essential at higher difficulties and make sure at least half my lords have it.

Man you are leveling lords the wrong way.
Blue line is the first you always should do, the upkeep reduction + lighthing strike are vital to win.
I was surprised when I learned that Tehenoween or however you spell it is pronounced "teeny weeny" and no I'm not joking
