Actually the earliest vid of Jimin dancing is from 2007 age 11 from when he performed at a concert given by Busan Just Dance Academy which is renowned school for hip hop that Jimin not only attended since 10a11 but was so good that an instructor waived his fees because he was that good! He only started contemporary dance later on! JIMIN has now won the title of BEST KPOP DANCER 2 years in a row as well as KING of KPOP so he isn't one of the best, he's regarded as the best!!

Jimin is actually a natural dancer and one of the only members who was professionally trained before being casted by BigHit. He was a contemporary dancer and placed 1st in his school even being selected by teachers to perform other types dances/martial arts; speaking of which, Jimin also happens to be talented in quite a few martial arts placing in the higher ranks/having multiple belts. Because of all of this he is in the dance line of bts and one of the best dancers in the group holding the title of main dancer.

Jimin was born as a natural dancer. He was so good that since he didn't have the money to pay for dance school his teacher decided to pay for them for him because he was that good. He entered as the top of his class. He was number one in the modern dance department.
This is so typical of people who don't know dance. They think that untrained people doing sloppy movements are "natural" and people trained in dance technique, that perform controlled movements, are stiff and awkward. You can tell that Jimin has a natural soul for dance because of the passion he displays whenever he dances.
i don’t know who told you wrong but jimin is renowned in the kpop industry and overall as an extremely naturally talented dancer. he can tackle all types of dance and has been famous in them since a kid; lyrical to hip hop, contemporary to popping and isolations and street and everything else inbetween m. you should definitely check out jimin dance compilations! the whole dance line in bts are known for being extremely talented and are icons in dance! ✨ jhope and jungkook are also extremely talented (the 3 of the together make up the dance line)

Jimin is an incredible dancer. He has been dancing all his life. He was the only freshman entering his art school, Busan School of Arts as well as The Korean Arts High School in Seoul at the top of his class in contemporary dance. He was also the only boy at the top of his class for all three years. He even trained in China in an exchange program for some time and was the only freshman invited from the contemporary department, I believe. When he debuted as an idol his dance teacher said that the world of dance lost an incredible talent. You should definitely react to his dance compilation. He actually only started singing after joining big hit but was so naturally talented he only needed to train a few months before debuting. He has been crowned the best dancer in Kpop and well as the coveted King of Kpop award for the last two years. (fun fact: V also attended The Korean Arts High School in Seoul. Jimin and V were best friends in high school after V stood up for Jimin because he was getting bullied for his Busan Dialect(satoori), which is basically his accent. Seoul Dialect is considered the "correct" or proper way of speaking, kind of like "The Queen's English" which is why all idols are expected to speak in Seoul Dialect even if they are not from Seoul or its surrounding province. The Busan Dialect is gritter, more aggressive, and is often considered manlier and that isn't really Jimin's personality so he got bullied for it and now rarely speaks in satoori unless is he emotional or is talking to Jungkook, who is also from Busan so they both speak the Busan Dialect.)

I have *NEVER* seen anyone claim that and I suspect this is misinformation, esp because Jimin became an idol trainee and would no longer be on the career track to train as a professional dancer. 2) I think you are making strange assumptions about his Busan accent and not wanting to be "manly"?? I bet Jimin reverts to his Busan dialect when taking to family and childhood friends, it has NOTHING to do with "manliness."

As for the Busan dialect I was talking about the dialect itself being manlier and more aggressive, which it is. I never said Jimin was trying to be that way. In fact I was saying the opposite, he has talked about his struggles of being true to himself and he used to put on a facade and tried to be a “real man” but now he realized that he doesn’t need to do that and that he is perfect just being him, this does not translate to how much he uses he satoori only that he got bullied for it. He said himself that he got bullied for his satoori in high school because of the fact it didn’t fit him and because he wasn’t speaking in the Seoul Dialect while in Seoul and Tae stood up for him and that is how they became best friends. I also said he reverts back to the Busan Dialect when he is emotional, which includes when he is talking about friends and family back home but also when he is angry or frustrated, basically when he is feeling any intense emotion. He does not use the dialect to be “manlier” he uses it because it is a part of who is he is.

His moves are not chaotic, this video shows some of the best vocals of Jimin, so you are not necessary going to see him being “fluid” as you say. But in my opinion he dances hard, beautifully, gracefully, smoothly while singing. You need to look at “Jimin legendary fan cams”, and dance practices, and Jimin dancing videos. Side note, “Black Swan”, and “Dimple” played and those two show he isn’t stiff, but no comment about those two dances.

I feel what you mean about him being very learned. To me he looks like he engages his core in every move he does so when he goes wild or erratic he's totally balanced. His dance is very technical but he's really made it into his own distinct style. His skill is really a testament to how hard he's worked on top of the raw talent.

It was Jimins vocals, the raspiness and how high he could go, that made him my ult bias in BTS since Boy In Luv (2014). He can go very raspy or so angelic thats the duality of his voice. His song Serendipity is my fav solo song by him as it helps to calm me down just hearing his angelic vocals on that track

There are many great dancers, technically talented, some with very precise moves, some with very strong moves (or both) some that can learn choreography easily etc. This can all be learnt with a lot of practice, focus and dedication. All of the above is applicable to Jimin BUT, what sets him apart, brings him a notch above the rest, is how beautifully he interprets music through his dancing. This is NOT something that can be learnt, this comes naturally. And also why it's such a pleasure, fascination to watch him dance. On repeat.

You should react tp JImins dance compilation or one of his dance videos. Jiminie is a natural born dancer. But he puts his own flair into his dancing thats why it looks different from the other members sometimes. We say that he “Jiminifies” the dance moves. Because in all of Kpop, you wont find anyone who can copy Jimins dance style. It’s his and his only.
Jimin is a very natural dancer. The reason why his moves can look artificial sometimes is because the choreo either doesn't exactly fit his style of dancing or because it's part of the choreo for the moves to look like that. Especially in Fake Love, where you stopped, the dance fits the theme of the song with the boys being like puppets, so it's intended that his moves are stiff and a bit clunky. Same with "Lie" for example. He's an artist and he very well knows what he's doing.

This man is my favorite artist of all time, just watching him dance and sing makes my skin crawl, he has an incredible stage presence, I like BTS, they are all very talented, but for me Jimin is on another level. He has so many skills he can handle whatever style it is and this combines with his vast experience in martial arts, which makes him one of a kind, he is a role model among rookie idols, calling him "the rookie bible" all performances where he has shown himself alone are legendary despite being only 26 years old. They also call him stage commander Jimin is the most versatile dancer and owner of a unique voice praised by the best vocal trainers and the best dancers in the world, besides being a really beautiful man with fascinating facial expressions. i dont know if you're aware but jimin has been dancing contemporary and modern since middle school and was even at the top of the class for the modern department when he was in high school
I think you got it backwards- Jimin was BORN to be a dancer. He learned how to sing, but it turns out he was born to do that too. I think where you got it confused is that he struggled to change from modern dance to hip hop in his very short trainee period because each of those styles of dance require his muscles to be used in completely different ways (flexible vs tense). He had to retrain his body in a short amount of time to be able to debut with BTS, but still to this day his body retained a lot of muscle memory from his days as a contemporary/modern dancer. You can see it in the way he positions his feet and hips, because it’s second nature to him. He and J-Hope are the main dancers for a reason. It comes naturally to them.

You should watch the behind the scenes of his 'Black Swan' dance. He did contemporary for years- before becoming a part of bts. His style of dance is quite different from average hip hop dancers, because he did contemporary before he studied hiphop. He learned both- which made him both as fluid as a swan and as sharp as a knife. He seems to blend it quite well. Theres not many dancers ive seen that have that uniqueness to them. Jimin was a dancer before a singer, and learned to become the exceptional vocalist he is today after joining bts. Im not sure where you heard that he wasnt a natural dancer🤔👀
Was going to watch this, but then I read some of the comments. If you are going to try and come for Jimin's dance skills, good luck with that btw, you need a new pair of eyes. Jimin is a renowned dancer, he can do any style of dance there is and nail it every time
..... Jimin is the most fluid dancer in BTS. I would say that he and Jhope are born to be dancers. He was a dancer before he became a singer. his dancing is so beautiful and full of emotions, and he was the best in his dance school before joining BTS. Please watch his dance compilations and You'll see how amazing he is
Jimin is the only member who had formal dance training. He entered performance arts high school as the top student in contemporary dance plus he’s pretty good at pirouettes. When he might have to leave, one of his teachers paid his tuition. When he was about 13, he was a pop and loc dancer. His teacher suggested he audition for Big Hit. The teacher convinced his dad that he should allow Jimin to because he was an exceptional dance student. He was the last to be selected and he had the least amount of time to train before their debut. He said he was almost fired about 8 times before the debut.
all members of the dance line have different styles for sure though. Jungkook has the cleanest moves. He has built a lot of muscle and they make his moves very impactful while his training makes the moves very clean. His dance is always super satisfying to watch and though he started as a vocalist when training, he is definitely a jack of all trades. J hope is full of energy and has a lot of street dance influence. He's well versed in a lot of different styles of dance from rocking to popping and even catches on to other style of dance very quickly. His movements are big and he uses his whole body and soul when he dances and you can feel it. Jimin has a contemporary feel even when he's doing the same moves as everyone else. He has different details at the tips of his fingers and toes because he's classically trained. I don't know how else to explain it so basically no matter what Jimin does its just elegant af. He just uses his body different no matter the style of dance he does and it really makes him special. For Taehyung, the newest dance line member, I feel like he uses his emotions really well in his dance. His facial expressions and the way he is naturally talented in expressing certain emotions in his dance is really special and really draws viewers in. I actually really like watching the members that are not in dance line dance too. Albeit they aren't considered to be as good as dance line, I love watching them improve. Also, bts' choreo is devastatingly difficult so they aren't even mediocre dancers? It's bts' choreo that is just crazy. I like to watch every member dance whenever a dance practice is released so I rewatch it 7 times and concentrate on one member each time 🥰

Like many of these comments, i reacted to the "not a natural dancer" comment - he sets himself apart because he does his moves with a natural comfort and control of his body, natural grace and placement of line, fluid movement, even the way he walks (now, did he get to be that way through training as others have said he has a background excelling in contemporary dance at a young age?, but being good at something and going into that training speaks to a natural ability and tendency - all swirling into the talent he is as a whole). The only time I thought things were less flattering on him were his earlier performances, and that is not because he wasn't fluid and comfortable in his body moving, but because he seemed to be "acting" more with his smiles and confidence. I think what you might see as jerkiness is sharpness + lightness of his body that could be seen as off because of the live music not being clear?. I don't know. ...Gosh, thinking of his dance for "Lie" just makes me feel overwhelmed and teary just now thinking about it. it's hard for me to see how someone could not see how beautiful and natural he is in performances like that - how the moves wouldn't even be possible for others, let alone as graceful and lyrical as he does. The singing on the other hand didn't come naturally, he has a beautiful timbre and quality but he worked on being able to sing the way he does now - you said he should go higher and i agree that he doesn't sing like extraordinarily high - it's just the natural quality that's interesting and has been developed. The tiny desk concert surprised me how the quality of his voice was just enhanced and brought out by his singing. also - that's nice you want to do a cover! you have a nice voice and i would be interested to hear it on your channel!

Actually the earliest vid of Jimin dancing is from 2007 age 11 from when he performed at a concert given by Busan Just Dance Academy which is renowned school for hip hop that Jimin not only attended since 10a11 but was so good that an instructor waived his fees because he was that good! He only started contemporary dance later on! JIMIN has now won the title of BEST KPOP DANCER 2 years in a row as well as KING of KPOP so he isn't one of the best, he's regarded as the best!!

Jimin is actually a natural dancer and one of the only members who was professionally trained before being casted by BigHit. He was a contemporary dancer and placed 1st in his school even being selected by teachers to perform other types dances/martial arts; speaking of which, Jimin also happens to be talented in quite a few martial arts placing in the higher ranks/having multiple belts.
Because of all of this he is in the dance line of bts and one of the best dancers in the group holding the title of main dancer.
JIMIN actually started out age 10-11studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop popping, & street dancing first attending the renowned school for hip hop Busan Just dance Academy! He was so good that an instructor waived his tuition fee! He started studying contemporary as well only a bit later! The media even called Jimin after sing a performance "The rising star of Busan". Jimin is one of a kind dancer, he was born to be on the stage. His talent is out of this world and he was a professional dancer before his became singer. Jimin was born as a natural dancer. He was so good that since he didn't have the money to pay for dance school his teacher decided to pay for them for him because he was that good. He entered as the top of his class. He was number one in the modern dance department.

This is so typical of people who don't know dance. They think that untrained people doing sloppy movements are "natural" and people trained in dance technique, that perform controlled movements, are stiff and awkward. i don’t know who told you wrong but jimin is renowned in the kpop industry and overall as an extremely naturally talented dancer. he can tackle all types of dance and has been famous in them since a kid; lyrical to hip hop, contemporary to popping and isolations and street and everything else inbetween m. you should definitely check out jimin dance compilations! the whole dance line in bts are known for being extremely talented and are icons in dance! ✨ jhope and jungkook are also extremely talented (the 3 of the together make up the dance line)

Jimin is an incredible dancer. He has been dancing all his life. He was the only freshman entering his art school, Busan School of Arts as well as The Korean Arts High School in Seoul at the top of his class in contemporary dance. He was also the only boy at the top of his class for all three years. He even trained in China in an exchange program for some time and was the only freshman invited from the contemporary department, I believe. When he debuted as an idol his dance teacher said that the world of dance lost an incredible talent. You should definitely react to his dance compilation. He actually only started singing after joining big hit but was so naturally talented he only needed to train a few months before debuting. He has been crowned the best dancer in Kpop and well as the coveted King of Kpop award for the last two years.
(fun fact: V also attended The Korean Arts High School in Seoul. Jimin and V were best friends in high school after V stood up for Jimin because he was getting bullied for his Busan Dialect(satoori), which is basically his accent. Seoul Dialect is considered the "correct" or proper way of speaking, kind of like "The Queen's English" which is why all idols are expected to speak in Seoul Dialect even if they are not from Seoul or its surrounding province. The Busan Dialect is gritter, more aggressive, and is often considered manlier and that isn't really Jimin's personality so he got bullied for it and now rarely speaks in satoori unless is he emotional or is talking to Jungkook, who is also from Busan so they both speak the Busan Dialect.)
And he was the only one that had the shortest time as a trainee. That tells you that he had genuine dance skills.

1) Are you sure Jimin was top student at Korean Arts HS too?? I have *NEVER* seen anyone claim that and I suspect this is misinformation, esp because Jimin became an idol trainee and would no longer be on the career track to train as a professional dancer.
2) I think you are making strange assumptions about his Busan accent and not wanting to be "manly"?? I bet Jimin reverts to his Busan dialect when taking to family and childhood friends, it has NOTHING to do with "manliness."

As for the Busan dialect I was talking about the dialect itself being manlier and more aggressive, which it is. I never said Jimin was trying to be that way. In fact I was saying the opposite, he has talked about his struggles of being true to himself and he used to put on a facade and tried to be a “real man” but now he realized that he doesn’t need to do that and that he is perfect just being him, this does not translate to how much he uses he satoori only that he got bullied for it. He said himself that he got bullied for his satoori in high school because of the fact it didn’t fit him and because he wasn’t speaking in the Seoul Dialect while in Seoul and Tae stood up for him and that is how they became best friends. I also said he reverts back to the Busan Dialect when he is emotional, which includes when he is talking about friends and family back home but also when he is angry or frustrated, basically when he is feeling any intense emotion. He does not use the dialect to be “manlier” he uses it because it is a part of who is he is.

His moves are not chaotic, this video shows some of the best vocals of Jimin, so you are not necessary going to see him being “fluid” as you say. But in my opinion he dances hard, beautifully, gracefully, smoothly while singing. You need to look at “Jimin legendary fan cams”, and dance practices, and Jimin dancing videos.
Side note, “Black Swan”, and “Dimple” played and those two show he isn’t stiff, but no comment about those two dances.

I feel what you mean about him being very learned. To me he looks like he engages his core in every move he does so when he goes wild or erratic he's totally balanced. His dance is very technical but he's really made it into his own distinct style. His skill is really a testament to how hard he's worked on top of the raw talent.

There are many great dancers, technically talented, some with very precise moves, some with very strong moves (or both) some that can learn choreography easily etc. This can all be learnt with a lot of practice, focus and dedication.
All of the above is applicable to Jimin BUT, what sets him apart, brings him a notch above the rest, is how beautifully he interprets music through his dancing. This is NOT something that can be learnt, this comes naturally. And also why it's such a pleasure, fascination to watch him dance. On repeat.

You should react tp JImins dance compilation or one of his dance videos. Jiminie is a natural born dancer. But he puts his own flair into his dancing thats why it looks different from the other members sometimes. We say that he “Jiminifies” the dance moves. Because in all of Kpop, you wont find anyone who can copy Jimins dance style. It’s his and his only.
Jimin is a very natural dancer. The reason why his moves can look artificial sometimes is because the choreo either doesn't exactly fit his style of dancing or because it's part of the choreo for the moves to look like that. Especially in Fake Love, where you stopped, the dance fits the theme of the song with the boys being like puppets, so it's intended that his moves are stiff and a bit clunky. Same with "Lie" for example. He's an artist and he very well knows what he's doing.

This man is my favorite artist of all time, just watching him dance and sing makes my skin crawl, he has an incredible stage presence, I like BTS, they are all very talented, but for me Jimin is on another level. He has so many skills he can handle whatever style it is and this combines with his vast experience in martial arts, which makes him one of a kind, he is a role model among rookie idols, calling him "the rookie bible" all performances where he has shown himself alone are legendary despite being only 26 years old. They also call him stage commander Jimin is the most versatile dancer and owner of a unique voice praised by the best vocal trainers and the best dancers in the world, besides being a really beautiful man with fascinating facial expressions. I think you got it backwards- Jimin was BORN to be a dancer. He learned how to sing, but it turns out he was born to do that too.
I think where you got it confused is that he struggled to change from modern dance to hip hop in his very short trainee period because each of those styles of dance require his muscles to be used in completely different ways (flexible vs tense). He had to retrain his body in a short amount of time to be able to debut with BTS, but still to this day his body retained a lot of muscle memory from his days as a contemporary/modern dancer. You can see it in the way he positions his feet and hips, because it’s second nature to him. He and J-Hope are the main dancers for a reason. It comes naturally to them.

I don't know who told you Jimin was not a natural dancer. Out of all the members I would say Jimin and J-Hope were the natural dancers of the group. They can all dance of course but Jimin has always danced. He went to school for dance and was the top student in the whole modern dance department. You're confusing Jimin with someone else.
You have to be the first person to say that in the universe concerning his dancing babe. He definitely had to refocus on becoming more hip hop because the group was more hip hop in the beginning (so happy they chilled on that, btw, appreciation not appropriation kids) but he is not only noted as THE BEST DANCER in pop but he is noted prodigy from an early age in contemporary, ballet, street dancing, martial arts, but mainly contemporary wining spots in top schools, scholarships, awards and was pleaded with to continue dancing because his teachers were scared the world would lose such amazing dancer. You should watch the behind the scenes of his 'Black Swan' dance. He did contemporary for years- before becoming a part of bts. His style of dance is quite different from average hip hop dancers, because he did contemporary before he studied hiphop. He learned both- which made him both as fluid as a swan and as sharp as a knife. He seems to blend it quite well. Theres not many dancers ive seen that have that uniqueness to them. Jimin was a dancer before a singer, and learned to become the exceptional vocalist he is today after joining bts. Im not sure where you heard that he wasnt a natural dancer🤔👀

Jimin is the only member who had formal dance training. He entered performance arts high school as the top student in contemporary dance plus he’s pretty good at pirouettes. When he might have to leave, one of his teachers paid his tuition. When he was about 13, he was a pop and loc dancer. His teacher suggested he audition for Big Hit. The teacher convinced his dad that he should allow Jimin to because he was an exceptional dance student. He was the last to be selected and he had the least amount of time to train before their debut. He said he was almost fired about 8 times before the debut.
all members of the dance line have different styles for sure though. Jungkook has the cleanest moves. He has built a lot of muscle and they make his moves very impactful while his training makes the moves very clean. His dance is always super satisfying to watch and though he started as a vocalist when training, he is definitely a jack of all trades. J hope is full of energy and has a lot of street dance influence. He's well versed in a lot of different styles of dance from rocking to popping and even catches on to other style of dance very quickly. His movements are big and he uses his whole body and soul when he dances and you can feel it. Jimin has a contemporary feel even when he's doing the same moves as everyone else. He has different details at the tips of his fingers and toes because he's classically trained. I don't know how else to explain it so basically no matter what Jimin does its just elegant af. He just uses his body different no matter the style of dance he does and it really makes him special. For Taehyung, the newest dance line member, I feel like he uses his emotions really well in his dance. His facial expressions and the way he is naturally talented in expressing certain emotions in his dance is really special and really draws viewers in.
I actually really like watching the members that are not in dance line dance too. Albeit they aren't considered to be as good as dance line, I love watching them improve. Also, bts' choreo is devastatingly difficult so they aren't even mediocre dancers? It's bts' choreo that is just crazy. I like to watch every member dance whenever a dance practice is released so I rewatch it 7 times and concentrate on one member each time 🥰

Like many of these comments, i reacted to the "not a natural dancer" comment - he sets himself apart because he does his moves with a natural comfort and control of his body, natural grace and placement of line, fluid movement, even the way he walks (now, did he get to be that way through training as others have said he has a background excelling in contemporary dance at a young age?, but being good at something and going into that training speaks to a natural ability and tendency - all swirling into the talent he is as a whole). The only time I thought things were less flattering on him were his earlier performances, and that is not because he wasn't fluid and comfortable in his body moving, but because he seemed to be "acting" more with his smiles and confidence. I think what you might see as jerkiness is sharpness + lightness of his body that could be seen as off because of the live music not being clear?. I don't know. ...Gosh, thinking of his dance for "Lie" just makes me feel overwhelmed and teary just now thinking about it. it's hard for me to see how someone could not see how beautiful and natural he is in performances like that - how the moves wouldn't even be possible for others, let alone as graceful and lyrical as he does.
The singing on the other hand didn't come naturally, he has a beautiful timbre and quality but he worked on being able to sing the way he does now - you said he should go higher and i agree that he doesn't sing like extraordinarily high - it's just the natural quality that's interesting and has been developed. The tiny desk concert surprised me how the quality of his voice was just enhanced and brought out by his singing.
