Yeah for the 5 star ⭐️Looks like Sept was a good reading month for you. I am looking forward to more Grady Hendrix too!! ❤️
Yay for a five star🎉🎉 I’ve not had one yet this month which isn’t like me 😮
I think you're right, YA does age faster than other genres. Things change quickly for teenagers - slang, fashion, technology etc. Not so much for adults. Although I think adult novels could age badly too if too much current technology or slang is used.
I've only read one Yoko Ogawa (The Memory Police) and its one of my favourite books of all time - which others do you think I'd like? I'm scared to try any others in case they don't live up to The Memory Police haha
Glad you finally got a 5 star!
I finished human by Matt Haig, made me kind of wish I was better at DNFing, feel like I'll.miss something so I persist. Thankfully it didn't take me long. I still have a copy of midnight library that I plan to at least try as I already have it and everyone kept a raving about it (telling me it was worth trying as really good, but I can't see it as I didn't like humans or how to stop time) , buts it's good to know that if I do finally dnf that one or at the end I want a better book of similar theme, I should try husbands.
I have also finished Antarctic by Claire Keegan, it was different to what I had expected, gave me tales of the unexpected vibes, also wasn't expecting so many to be set in southern states of America.nit sure if shirt stories are my thing yet though, am undecided.
Hope you enjoy equal rites. Reading it as a 15 year old girl, it made my heart happy in many ways.
