One of my absolutely favourite David Whittaker compositions. I wonder what he's up to these days; hope all is well for this talented guy who has blessed us with this timeless classic.
He's now 66. According to Wiki, he does dialog and SFX for video games. One of his old tracks was sampled and used as the basis for mainstream hit dance song "Kernkraft 400" by Zombie Nation.
As a kid I would sometimes stop playing just to listen to the music (especially that second part) :) // I know: then I had to deal with that pesky "bee thingy" ... (but it was totally worth it) :P

@@NotQuiteFirst I remember the interview of him during the C64 Audio 2003 get together. I think he did quite well out of that sample.
