- From 1989, here is a station ID from LPB, Louisiana Public Broadcasting, the PBS member station group serving all of Louisiana save New Orleans. All copyrights acknowledged. Features the full TV Worth Watching/full triumphant synthesized orchestra fanfare, which the tail end was used for general LPB ids from about 1988-1992. This lists the stations: KLTM (Monroe), KLTL (Lake Charles), KLPB (Lafayette), KLTS (Shreveport), KLPA (Alexandria), and WLPB (Baton Rouge).

since when WLAE became a part of louisiana public broadcasting?
@@ryanpascual9598 WLAE (Educational Broadcasting Foundation Inc.) is part owned by LPB, and has been since the FCC granted their license in 1981, with operations starting in 1984. It wasn't until 1998-ish, however, that LPB began to include WLAE in their station Idents.
It is interesting how KLPB 24 Lafayette and KLTS 24 Shreveport were the same channel number, with the same affiliation, on a state public broadcast network, in the same state.
Yep. It's not the only coincidence--KATC in Lafayette and KTBS in Shreveport are both on channel 3 and both ABC affiliates. Their digital channels are also the same: both are on channel 28, are mapped to 3, and that is certainly coincidental to the third quarter score of Super Bowl LI when the Patriots were trailing the Falcons.
