You probably already know this, but movies and shows are made bad on purpose. They dont want to spend the extra money and effort to create a work of art that will only do but so good. It's easier to create controversy and make a bad movie on purpose knowing x amount of people will still see it and make y amount of money because research and advertizing. "WOAH they made Velma black!? but why?" instead of being creative, they draw attention to themselves for enough people to watch, dont have to be creative, and get globogay points all at the same time.

We will kill each other, driven to desperation due to our own obsolescence. AI will replace us not just at jobs, but at relationships, entertainment, education... Everything will be gone and nothing will be left. And it's unavoidable. Such is the nature of the Great Filter.

That parking lot shot gave me crazy nostalgia from the late 80s/early 90s. It seemed almost MANDATORY for every action movie in the 80s to have a parking structure action scene.

Im digging this too. But more terrifying? Nah. With the levels of realistic prosthetics and makeup we have today this just completely ruins the suspension of disbelief. This does seem like it would be one of those famous pop culture movies though. It must be a generational thing. Cause modern horror movies have scared me way more than 99% of older horror films. For me this would be a fun watch but it would not be that scary for me. Especially not as much as the re2make was.

While I feel like this trend is generally running its course on TH-cam, this is pretty amazing. The images look recognizably RE2, while bringing forward the George Romero/Terminator 2 inspirations of the original. This would make some pretty solid key art for any RE project

It's funny to me because it's a universal item to all the old school games and we know it so well, that to see it depicted by ai that is doing a lot of flawed guesswork in its presentation is pure novelty to me. The ai doesn't really understand what the simple green herb is, and it try hard and very flawed to depict it I guess just tickles me pink. But I find the object portrayals funnier than the character ones. Just personal I guess.

Leon and Ada look about 15 years older than they should, while Sherry looks too young. It's still amazing though. a 1985 Resident Evil movie would be so rad something about the early mid 80s, the music the effects even tho some were bad were scary. the horror genere just worked in the 80s now stuff either turns into an action movie or its how grotesque and uncomfortable we can make ppl with gore.
probably just by the pictures it was way better than all the movies based on the games ever made
in an alternate timeline, if the games were made into movies and stuck with the content it produced instead of the steaming pile of waste that was made, it would be glorious.

The Licker at 0:36 and the giant spiders at 2:05 were the goofiest to me. Those spiders actually look creepier than the actual RE2 spiders cuz they look like, alien or something.
